The best way to visit the Grand Canyon and a taste of Sedona! Tracy, our guide was a wealthy of knowledge, wit, and thoughtfulness! Plan for a 12 hour day, this sounds daunting but it didn't seem that way at all! We could have used a little more time, actually.

We traveled from Texas, first time in AZ therefore we wanted to be able to markoff the most famous to do but do other things. The drive from Peoria certainly would have been too much for me, in addition to having to figure out where to go, how, the best sights etc. Detours removed all the stress and hassle that comes with trip planning! You are picked up, for me at a nearby populated, safe shopping parking lot, then just ride, listen, learn, and enjoy!

There were plenty of rest break stops, Tracy knew the best places for photos, and was clear on timing goal to ensure we maximized our time and trip. Everything was executed to perfection! The linewait to enter the Grand Canyon was short, we arrived at the Bright Angel Lodge in perfect time! We were seated and had a great lunch, (the double bacon cheeseburger is a winner), and when leaving saw a line to enter out the door!!

Tracy, our guide, took is through the valley to Sedona and to view the red rock formations, such as the awesome Bell Rock! I appreciate Tracy's willingness to respond to every question, and his knowledge and experience were invaluable.

This tour was well worth the price, and if you have a guide with a pleasant attitude, excellent voice inflection, knowledgeable, considerate, with great driving skills, please tip accordingly! I could on and on but will stop here and let you know that a frugal parent of a 16 yearold teeanage son APPROVES this one.

Our guide Mark brought positive energy, and his affection for Arizona makes him passionate about giving his tourists a brilliant experience. He was always on time, attentive to our needs, and informative about our sites and points of interest. The vehicle was comfortable and roomy. The drive from Phoenix was actually an added value to the Grand Canyon experience. I didn’t expect so much desert diversity, and I can’t imagine how Mark could have done more to make our Grand Canyon tour a success.

We did the custom tour as I was taking my 86 year old mom and my aunt. The booking and the communication were easy and good. The SUV was very comfortable.
Grand Canyon was Grand but the whole experience was made memorable and amazing by our tour guide and driver Derek. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly and took such good care of my mom. The drive to the Canyon from Phoenix was very interesting and informative with the wonderful narratives provided by Derek. Considering my mom’s age and mobility issues, Derek chose spots with less walking so mom could enjoy the best views with less exertion.

My wife and I took this tour and it was fantastic, exceeded my expectations. The van was comfortable, there were adequate rest stops, and the Grand Canyon was awesome. Aldo was our guide and he couldn't possibly have been better. He was knowledgable, had great stories and insights, went out of his way to make sure everyone was enjoying it. It's obvious that he has a real passion for Arizona and wants to share. And great music too. Coming home there was a bad traffic jam. He's been driving for 12 hours at this point but he just rolled with it and kept his humor. I couldn't have done that. Money well spent.

I took a day tour through the Apache Trail as a solo traveler and had a great time. My guide, Diane, was amazing. She was informative and made sure the entire group felt like a team. I never felt left out despite being on my own. And the tour was great. Multiple spots full of great experiences and photo opportunities. And Diane had plenty of information about each. Would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Phoenix and wanting to experience more than what a google search allows.
