We started working with Copeland builders in June of 2023. We were living in TN and were moving back to New England. From our first conversation Sean was very open about the process and that he could help us customize a house plan. When the first plan was over budget he helped us come up with another plan that worked. When our selected mortgage provider fell through he was able to recommend another bank who was much better to work with. We broke ground in October and moved in in July. The entire process very smooth. We could customize every single aspect of our home but he also provided us recommendations and suggestions. He was good at communicating and very responsive, especially considering we were building very far away. The quality of everything inside and outside our home is exceptional. We could not be happier with our new custom built home in Woodstock and we highly recommend Copeland Builders!

We chose Copeland after interviewing three builders. The first interactions with the Copeland team were all positive. The company offered the most flexibility in design, pricing, and materials of all prospective builders, so we chose them.
The planning phase was easy to follow with written descriptions and a meeting to discuss each build component (foundation, roof, electrical, heating etc.) If we changed from original plans along the way, change orders were discussed in advance and the price was always upfront and clear before implementing.
The team who built the home was incredible. I can't say enough about the patience, kindness, and professionalism of each team member. Sean, Mike, Chris, Matt and especially Marie, who made sure the team was meeting our requests. Anytime I had a minor concern, Sean, the owner, was right there to address, and redirect as needed. We had absolutely NO STRESS other than choosing colors, appliances, flooring and all the usual that falls on the homeowner to decide.
Everyone told us before we built that it was going to be a very trying time building a house. SO NOT TRUE with Copeland. Their experience allowed us to relax, and they solved any issues that arose. They were partners in the build and were there after the build to ensure we were up and running months after we moved in.

We are so happy in our home and receive compliments frequently from those who visit. The best decision we ever made besides moving back up from NC was to choose Copeland Builders.

Copeland Builders recently completed our home. This is the second time we have built with Copeland that in itself is high praise.  When you sit down with Sean or Michael you are put at ease and soon realize you are in good hands. Their knowledge of materials, cost, design, and overall function is amazing and reassuring. The lead carpenters Chris and Matt were amazing and were extremely attentive to our objectives. They are true craftsmen and their dedication shows in their work.  All of the subs that were used were also fantastic.  We loved collaborating with the team and incorporating details that truly make this a custom home with our unique touch. We strongly recommend Copeland Builders.

Copeland Builders built our house a few years ago. There’s always issues in a project this size but as issues came up they were resolved in short order. The house is awesome!! There were a couple of problems like a defect with the boiler but Sean honored the new home warranty and took care of the issue. Hopefully we never have to build another home but if we do Copeland Builders will be the one to do it!
