Frank and his assistant Tara were nothing short of amazing, and they exceeded every expectation we had. I knew that I wanted Frank to DJ and do the lighting our wedding when I heard him at my best friend's wedding a year and a half earlier. Otto Productions and Pittsburgh Event Lighting were the second vendor we booked - that's how important our music was to us! I loved that he was able to naturally read our crowd to get a feel for what our family/friends liked and what would keep them dancing.

When we meet six weeks before my Wedding to go over our day, he answered every question I had, and even ones I didn't know I had; it so put me at ease. I really liked that he told me that all I had to do was make eye contact with him during our parents dance, because we both picked very long songs, to fade out our songs.

Tara was also a lifesaver when, after my bouquet toss, I realized I didn't have my garter on (I hadn't worn it because it was kind of annoying.) Tara quickly assured me that she would find it for me, the music never stopped, and it was never awkward. I had my garter within minutes and the show went on without missing a beat!

We continue to receive compliments on our DJs/music and that people have never been to a wedding where everyone was literally on the dance floor ALL night long. It was a nonstop party and we want to do it all over again! I recommend Otto Productions highly and without reservation for a wedding- they were amazing!!

Lighting:
Fantastic work, in all aspects! They knew exactly how to set up for a romantic evening ballroom, they know when to reign it in and when to do dramatic. Super nice people, prompt, and their lighting designs are breath taking!

Went to a wedding this weekend and the DJ did nothing the bride had wanted. When he was spoken to by more then one person he was rude and said “don’t talk to me talk to her” meaning his assistant. There is no reason to be rude and for the amount of money you spend on a dj you would think they would do their best work and be nice. I wouldn’t recommend him for anything! The lighting that he did was wonderful the DJing part was not and he kept having his mic to close to his mouth that people couldn’t even understand him. We had a huge cookie table and wanted it announced that guests could take some home and he flat out said “no I’m not doing that”. Again not professional at all I hope he can learn from this experience and do better at the next.

Frank was my wedding DJ in 2012 he was amazing! He ended up breaking his leg a week or so before my wedding and showed up ready to perform! I couldn't thank him enough everybody still talks about how awesome the dance floor was! Frank is an amazing DJ we couldn't have had anyone better!

I am a wedding photographer in Pittsburgh and Frank understands proper lighting. He doesn't put harsh lights or spots on the bride/groom during important dances such as the first dance, father/daughter, mother/son, etc. His lighting doesn't interfere with the event but adds to the event. In addition, as a DJ and MC he is willing to work with the other vendors in a professional manner ensuring the wedding/reception is first rate.

Met with Frank and I cannot imagine any self respecting human being paying this man to entertain at a wedding. He was pompous, conceited and very overreaching. For instance he asked if our passports were up to date for the honeymoon. THE DJ SHOULD NOT BE ASKING ME ABOUT MY PASSPORT. During the meeting, he pulled out his laptop to show us a presentation, however his laptop was dead. Although we did not proceed with the meeting to a point where he provided a price quote, he asked several phishing questions to see what the overall cost of the wedding was, presumably so he could inflate his price. If you are going to try to price gouge someone, wouldn't you at least have your laptop charged and presentation on point? He also was very verbal about the itinerary that we worked out with the caterer and venue and even became fixated on it when we were unwilling to change it to his recommendations. At the end of the meeting he concluded by saying that we should just get an iPod to DJ. No, just ANYONE ELSE AT ALL.

Response: First, I would to clarify that at no point were you asked to perform any services at my event, so started your reply by saying you turned us down is exactly the kind of thing I wish for people to know before choosing your services. Also, this is not an anonymous alias, as this is not Jeff F. While Im appalled that you would specifically call out a potential customer by name like that on a public forum, it further demonstrates why I chose to review your company without choosing your services for my wedding. Lastly, this is my honest review of what happened and I'm posting it to share my experience with other users.

Frank is an amazing DJ! The lighting was stellar and his playlists were perfect to keep the audience on their feet!
