I could not recommend Eisenhower House as a wedding venue more. I have grown up hoping that I would someday get married at this location - and my dream came true thanks to an amazing staff and beautiful venue! Mallory and Emily were so helpful the entire ~15 months I was planning my wedding - answering every question I had very promptly, with kindness. The staff members on site the day of our wedding were so nice and helpful. I truly can't imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you Eisenhower House staff for all that you do - our wedding was perfect! Highly recommend.

This three-story mansion was built in 1873 and later serving as the Summer White House for thirty-fourth U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Originally the quarters of the commanding general for Fort Adams, the state received the property in 1964, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The house is now a wedding venue and has self-guided tours on Mondays.

Our wedding at Eisenhower House this October was absolutely incredible! We had the best weekend of our lives, and the team was wonderful to work with. Mallory Rennick was our point of contact and was incredibly helpful, responsive, and detailed from the very start! We could not have asked for a better weekend and have not stopped hearing compliments from our friends & family!

The Eisenhower House is the perfect place for a wedding for couples who love that Newport charm but want a historic house rather than a marble mansion. Brides, want the prettiest getting ready photos? Get ready at the Eisenhower House. The bridal suite is huge, white, full of light, and has gorgeous antique furniture for all your dress shots, details, everything. It has a built in rain plan, as the front porch is covered and looks stunning for photos rain or shine, as well as an indoor side porch with wraparound windows. Parking is easy. The lawn is expansive (break out those cocktail hour lawn games!) and there’s plenty of room for the tent and the ceremony with a water view. The best part, other than the incredible architecture and over-abundance of photo ops, is that the staff will take you on a golf cart ride to the ocean! A quick 2 minute ride and you’re at these gorgeous cliffs overlooking the ocean. There’s greenery, water, everything perfect for your Newport wedding photos. And yes, the area faces the correct way for golden sunset photos. The staff here is incredible and go above and beyond to serve their clients, and you will be able to have an incredible Newport wedding without all the rules and regulations and time constraints a lot of the other venues do. Go take a tour now!!!

I live locally and hit JBs with friends from out of town. Tough to beat their lobster roll and the entire lunch menu is on point. Great service and A+ view. Sailor Casual, good vibe.
