Had a great experience booking and hosting our event at Elara. The staff was very accommodating with our requests and the venue hall itself was beautiful. “A Beautiful Wedding Celebration”

We had our wedding here last November and it was amazing! Linda was fantastic to work with and helped us put together the best event we could have asked for. She was always prompt to reply to my many emails full of questions, and was so helpful leading up to and the day of. She made sure everything was perfect for us. The event staff the day of was also wonderful and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing (we're still getting complements from our guests on it!) And everything turned out better than we could have imagined. Highly suggest having your wedding, or any event, here!

Went to a fundraising luncheon/fashion show here on Sunday. Generally speaking, banquet food is not always great but this was good. The chicken was tender and the vegetables fresh. The little potatoes were delicious as was the apple slice for desert. The room was comfortable and it was easy to get around. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean. If I were hosting an event, I would definitely consider the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn.

Great center to go with plenty of space for a good number of people to attend for an event. The staff was very friendly, and the convention center was very clean. I am unsure if it was the event center that had also provided the catering, though if so, the food was amazing. I simply wish that I had more events to go to at this location.

The event was great, but this whole place is in disrepair; one of two elevators is broken, the ceiling in the event office is a leaking disaster, the tiled floors are all a mess, we even spotted a fire extinguisher that's past its inspection date.
