The emergency room is perhaps the worst I have seen in the USA, the employees are good, and they have good service in terms of treatment, but my wife, who was congested, went with abdominal and head pain for 4 days and the first thing they said was that they couldn't do much for her congested condition, not even a painkiller, they only did a nose test to see if there was a virus and we lasted almost 5 hours and no answers, we had to leave with the pain and we wasted our time, that's not to say that I saw seriously ill elderly people without even a stretcher-bearer. Really, if you want to get out worse, visit this emergency room.

ATTN Jill from Nursing. Just want to let you know your 2 staff members Erica Faux from the ER nursing department and Dr. Bish hands down 10/10 service. They listened to my concerns. Treated me with respect, and had amazing bed side hospitality. They need a raise and recognition becuase they’re doing gods work! Get those 2 a raise!

If you’re looking to get immediate medical help, you’re not getting it here. Especially if you have a pre-existing condition. The ONLY plus side about coming to WB General’s Emergency, is that I would have waited a LOT longer at another facility, but it took over 12+ hours to get scans and I never received medical treatment. I have heard it take much longer for other times. I had to leave because I was so over it and just got told to take a steroid. I understand the place is understaffed but the medical staff just honestly does not know what they are doing. I have gotten misdiagnosed here plenty of times and as I said, you won’t get immediate medical help. They would rather send you home with a flu by their convenience so you can go croak in your house or make another visit, and of course they are quick to bill you but not even send results of your scans. I was in there and called for results for them to say I was not even in thee system. They are a mess! Please take control of your health when you come here, if you feel like something is wrong, don’t let someone tell you it’s a cold and send you home. In my case, it WAS NOT just a cold. 🤦‍♀️

I'm traveling for work and got sick on the road. I have a blocked colon from vitamin and Sea Moss pill usage. My "Dr." Came in after the x rays to say to me, " Your sitting up here at 53 years old to get DUG OUT!"

Update: I had to return mid-day to pick up my prescription and I understand the poor reviews a bit more. There is a hospital staffing shortage nationwide and it shows here in the ER. While everyone I encountered was incredibly professional and I was in no way treated poorly, there was some chaos regarding a non English speaking patient being shuffled around and the wait time just to pick up two slips of paper was silly purely because there was only ONE person at the front desk and a growing line of patients. She was professional and prompt however, NO problems here.
Original: My visit to the ER happened between the hours of 2am and 5am. The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive to me the entire time we were there, patient and willing to answer any questions we had. There was literally no wait, we didn't even sit down in the lobby before I was taken in and treated. I'm so scared of hospitals but everyone there was very kind and calming.

Dr. Was nice but didn't listen. Explained pain on left side but they looked at my right side and wouldn't correct the mistake. I said I was allergic to lydocane and they tried to send me home with a lydocane patch for pain. Informed me AFTER visit that what they did was irrelevant to the diagnosis of issue I originally came in for. TERRIBLE experience and expensive as well.

My daughter has been in a hallway for over four hours. She had her blood work done right in hallway items to use taken out of a basket from Target. She said the group she care in with has come and gone. When I got there after driving two hours no one knew what was going on with her.

On 5/26/2022 I arrived to the emergency room with my 84 year old mother. Upon entering the ER my mom was experiencing vomiting, dehydration and abdominal pain. Triage assessed her and interaction was appropriate.

Subsequently; we waited 16 SIXTEEN HOURS with no communication with the medical staff. This is neglect.

Although we can understand that there are no “beds” available, this should not impact the communication to the patient.

We left before speaking with the doctor….16 hours…. My 84 year old mom; in addition to the vomiting / dehydration; has osteoporosis and cannot sit for 16 hours in waiting room chairs (she was also vomiting every 15 minutes in the bathroom).

This is shameful and neglectful. 3rd world care at this facility. We regret ever going to emergency care during an emergency.

The biggest concern is the lack of communication. Someone should have come out to the waiting room and provided an update and ETA OF diagnosis. I could go on…

This is shameful and neglectful. I would urge personnel to investigate what is happening in the emergency room.
