I went on the canyoneering trip to Christopher creek canyon and all I can say is that it was great. There were great views and it was a very cool experience to hike, swim, and rappel all in the same trip. They handled everything for us so we just showed up drove to the canyon and had fun. Jose is also a standout feature of the package, he’s like the cool dad everyone wants.

We went on a canyoneering trip with Epic Adventures this past weekend and we had a blast! Jose is an extremely personable and knowledgeable guide. He had so many stories to share regarding his past trips, shared plenty of facts about the area, and demonstrated proper techniques and use of the equipment. We were lucky to have such an awesome teacher for our first time canyoneering. Jose is very patient and we certainly felt safe during the entire experience. Jose even brought a go pro and a drone to take plenty of pictures throughout our adventure down the canyon and went out of his way to share a list of some of his favorite spots near the area so we could continue exploring on our own. Overall, we would 100% recommend using Epic Adventures for any outdoor tours you may be considering! You won’t be disappointed!

Our family had an amazing time Canyoneering with Jose! He was so kind and professional. When someone in our group felt uneasy about rappelling, he kindly reassured them and escorted them down alongside himself. After that, they were able to do the next repels on their own. The owner Jose was incredible! He picked us up at our hotel, (he was early), brought us to the McDowell mountains and had plenty of conversation along the way without being overwhelming.

We have experience rock climbing indoors, and Jose was quickly able to assess our capabilities and level of comfort after only a couple of climbs. He adjusted which rock faces he chose that day to accommodate our skill level and kept it fun, interesting and challenging.

Jose is very personable and easy going. He was very knowledgeable on the trails and the flora. We didn't feel rushed at all and completely enjoyed the experience.

Next time we make a trip out we're planning on going mountaineering with him. I definitely recommend Jose and Epic Adventures!
