We had a great experience with this tour. We did a 3 hour glacier tour with a couple of other cool stops on the way. Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again. We liked the smaller boat over the huge charter

if you have ever considering kayaking in and around Whittier, don't consider anyone else BUT Epic Charters - from Brooks helping us with all of our trip bookings and organization, to Captain Nic taking us out to Barry's Arm, to Nicole being an absolute delight and making sure we were all packed and ready to go on our trip (she even drove us to the grocery store!), each and every member of the staff was so incredibly kind, helpful and just all-around wonderful! We can't speak highly enough about our time with Epic Charters, truly a amazing staff in an amazing place!

We have used Epic Charters for our water taxi out of Whittier for many years and always have great experiences. They are friendly, helpful, and trustworthy. We are dropped and picked up as planned and they know where we are so if we need to call in early, they are "watching" for us. Brook runs a solid operation with quality boats that are easy to load and unload. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have confidence in their boats and ability and am never concerned about their condition or the captain's ability. I'm not sure if they are more expensive than the others in the area or not but to me they are worth what they charge.

Epic Charters is awesome. They provided taxi service to Decision Point/Squirrel Cove for us. The service is excellent. They were friendly and gave us a lot of extra service that we didn't expect after going with other services in the past. All that, and the price was much better.

We initially chartered out for a multi-day sea kayaking trip with Lazy Otter Charters (whom I gave 5 stars), but with incessant rain, we decided we would cut our trip 2 days short. We ran into kayaking friends who had chartered with Epic and who were returning that day. We asked Epic if we could return with them, as they still had room on the boat. I am grateful that they said yes, and fully expected to pay for the return, but considering that they already had a group on the boat fully paying for the charter, I expected our cost would be comparable to the one way with Lazy Otter. Lazy Otter charged us $75 round trip, so we expected Epic would charge is $40 maybe $50 for one way, especially since we were pure profit for them. I was shouted when the charged us $125 each for the one way trip. Again, though I am grateful to have had the early pick-up, remember they were not doing us a favor -- they were making a profit. But $125 one way when the competition was charging us $75 RT for the same distance as a shared ride, is a rip-off. For this reason alone, Epic will never have my business again. Lazy Otter, to my amazement and to their credit, refunded our return trip and even the unused days of kayak rental. I offered to just take a credit with them, but they insisted on a refund. Lazy Otter will have all my future business

Did a trip up College Fiord and it was amazing. We got to stop and walk around on the beach, drift with engines off in the glacial ice, gather ice, etc. Brook, the owner was our guide, and could not have been more accommodating, professional or just plain fun. If you are looking for a fancy meal on a boat ride, this is not the place, but if you want a fantastic up close tour, you won’t be disappointed!
