I really like this hotel, have stayed twice and will stay again. It's on the smaller side but has all the amenities I'm looking for; nice decor, places to hang in the lobby with my own wine if I want, a nice bar/restaurant, pool, small gym, a roof top bar and a couple of neighborhood restaurants and a coffee shop in walking distance (there is complimentary coffee in the lobby in the mornings). The rooms I've stayed in have been comfortable. Both stays so far, I've been on the front side of the building however road noise hasn't been an issue, just pull down the black out shade to block the sunrise. The beds are comfy and the bathroom has a great over sized shower. Toiletries are a bit minimal however that doesn't bother me. Nice mini bar for a price. No room fridge. Great proximity to Hyde Park and its shops and restaurants as well as Bay Shore Blvd. for a morning run or walk. About a five minute drive for those. The airport and downtown areas about 15 minutes, the beaches more like 40 + minutes. There's on site parking which is valet, not sure of the cost as I don't rent a car. It's across the street from the famed Bern's Steakhouse and there's a package you can book with the hotel to get a reservation at Bern's. They do weddings and business meetings however neither have been a bother for me. There is a tented space on the back side of the building for events with might be an issue for those rooms, something to maybe consider asking about at check in. Overall, it's been a great place for me.

I’ll never forget the last wedding I worked at the Epicurean Hotel—it was nothing short of magical. The bride and her bridal party were getting ready in one of the stunning suites, with natural light pouring in, setting the perfect scene for flawless hair and makeup. As I styled the bride, she kept raving about how much she loved the modern, elegant atmosphere of the hotel and how it perfectly complemented her vision for the day.

From the rooftop terrace to the exquisite reception space, everything about the Epicurean exudes sophistication. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect, which made my job of keeping everyone calm and confident so much easier. It’s truly a venue where unforgettable memories are made, and I always look forward to working here!

We were very impressed particularly by the incredibly helpful staff. They couldn’t have been better. We stayed twice for one night on the way to St Pete’s and on the way back. They checked us in early and let us have a room to change in before our flight on Sunday 23rd February. Thank you again it made all the difference.
We loved the pool area and the location is very good with access to lots of restaurants, the bay and down town Tampa. Shame the flyover is so near but you forget about it after a while.

Busy roads both sides of hotel. You definitely hear the road noise in your room. The staff is friendly. Pool area is nice. You can walk to Tampa Bay through scenic neighborhoods.

I've stayed at the Epicurean Hotel twice. The first time was for business while this time my wife traveled with me. We were in Tampa for the Gasparilla Bowl. We booked the Epicurean based on my experience the first time along with their association with Bern's Steak House. This stay was every bit as good as the first. The staff is extremely friendly, the drinks at the bar exceptional, the breakfast excellent, the bed comfortable, and the room was clean, well decorated, and functional. The Epicurean Hotel is an great option within the Marriott family.

From the time we arrived, our stay at the Epicurean was nothing short of outstanding. Greeted by Faye and Heaven at check-in, their professionalism and eye for details to make our stay exceptional was noticeable and appreciated. The rooms are large and elegantly appointed and the amenities are perfect for your stay in midtown Atlanta. The restaurant and bar are cozy and sophisticated with menu items that turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. And wait until you see the pool area! A great location and a welcome staff and well designed hotel makes this our favorite for downtown Atlanta.

We had an excellent weekend at the Epicurean in November. The Balcony suite was perfect for getting ready for our wedding that was also being held at the hotel (The Garden Terrace is a perfect venue if looking for a hotel venue in Tampa!) The incredibly kind and attentive staff and valet, delicious food, prime location, rooftop bar - all reasons to love this place! Our wedding weekend at the Epicurean was the best weekend ever - highly recommend!

We enjoyed the night having dinner (work event) the service from the host at the hotel was friendly and professional. The food was superb; I had some appetizers, a really delicious salad with romaine lettuce, chicken, olives, red peppers and a Caesar -like dressing. I chose a salmon with quinoa and other grains and it was a very delicious. The place has very lovely art pieces and antique items, a nice bar area and quite a bit of sitting space.
A fun part of this hotel is the 4th floor; The Edge, it's a rooftop area that offers great music and another nice bar area with lots of sitting space for you to enjoy with friends, great for a casual date although a bit loud due to the music. Anyone can join in, you don't need to be a guest in the hotel.
I'm definitely gathering my girlfriends for a night at the edge soon. We had a very enjoyable time.
