I took a brand new $1000 jacket to have the sleeves shorten. When I came to pick the jacket up, one sleeve was 1 inch shorter than the other, left the jacket and was told to come pick it up two hours later. When I came to pick up the jacket, there was small burn on the sleeve. They refused to take accountability and claimed the burn was already there.

Could not be happier with our experience. Brought in a few dry-clean only clothes for cleaning, and also a beloved sundress that had two huge holes in it. I felt certain the dress was beyond repair the rips were so bad, but I love the dress so much that it was worth at least asking about. Upon seeing the dress they were very confident that fixing it wouldn’t be a problem and wow, glad I asked before throwing the dress away! It’s near-impossible to tell where the two huge holes were! Definitely coming back here. Also the price was great and my dry-clean only clothes came back lovely~

Listen, I was in a hotel about to attend my Sister’s wedding in the next few hours. I tried on my jumpsuit something I should have done days ago. Not to my surprise it was wayyyy too long, I was not going to buy something else to wear, so I looked up alterations in the area and found Esther at Esther’s Alterations in Riverdale MD which was 10min from my Hotel…10 min later Esther got me alllll the way together!! I’m in love with this place, I will always go back here!♥️

I’ve been coming here for 4 years now, and have always received consistently top-notch and timely alterations. It’s an independently owned small family business, with owners that are kind, attentive, and truly care about their customers — a rarity this day and age. They work hard and around the clock to meet deadlines. After a truck smashed through their front door a few weeks ago… did they take a break? Luckily no one was hurt, but they kept right on working to make sure their customers had what they needed. Grateful to have a dedicated go-to spot just 5 minutes from me.
