Firstly, the staff overall are extremely professional, helpful and supportive. My therapist Ms. Bowman is absolutely amazing. I always feel seen, heard and cared for. She does a fantastic job of creating healthy and influential ways to deal with stressors catered specifically to individual client’s needs. She provides genuine and honest feedback without being judgmental, but more so in a insightful and thought provoking way. Historically, I dreaded therapy sessions due to approaches in the past, but now I literally look forward to our sessions because I know I will feel lighter by the end. I am so appreciative to her and to the practice. I consistently recommend Evans Counseling and Consulting.

I have been going to Evans Counseling & Consulting for about 2 years now and I’m beyond grateful for this place! The staff is wonderful, kind and very helpful. My counselor Ms. Bowman has been a true blessing. She has helped me navigate some very difficult situations and I can’t thank her enough. She’s a great listener and her advice has helped me to start living again. I’ve been existing for quite some time now and I’m just grateful and blessed to have met Ms. Bowman at this stage in my life. I highly recommend ECC! Evans Counseling and Consulting has been an excellent resource of what we call at our Massage Clinic “Mental Health Check-Ins”. Our clinic’s Health & Wellness Community (Clients, Members, Guest, Patients, etc.) consists of students, working professionals, retired military personnel, families, and so many more walks of life. One of the many bonuses of recommending the providers at their facility is the simultaneous empowerment of both our health & wellness community and clinic staff by encouraging the client/patient WHOLE HEALTH needs to be the top priority. We appreciate the amazing works being done at Evans Counseling and Consulting!

The staff and my counselor are great! The staff is kind and my counselor holds me accountable and is understanding. The office has flexible times that work with my schedule. Overall, I am pleased my the service here. I definitely recommend going here if you are serious about helping yourself, healing yourself, and bettering yourself.

I like the ease of making an appointment but just wish there was a better way to match with a therapist, maybe ask questions concerning your specific need.
I only met my therapist once but I could already tell she was not the right match for me. Nice enough but there was no connection and I felt like I couldn't trust her with the information I needed to share.
Mainly because she had no feedback to give. Just questions but no insight into how it could be addressed. I get being an active listener but therapy is supposed to involve some interaction.

I highly recommend this place to all the people I know that are not currently in therapy. The staff are all very friendly, Shakeem always greets customers with a beautiful and friendly smile. I love that when I meet with Devyn C I feel like I’m having a conversation with a trusted friend and she gives me suggestions on how to better myself. Mental health is often neglected, especially in the black community so I am very happy to have found Evans C & C and plan to continue this form of self-care for as long as possible.

I met Dr Evans in 2017 and I have never forgotten about her. After a major car accident Dr Evans helps me and my wife so much. It was like talking to your best friend how understanding she was and I'm so glad that I get to see that she open her practice that she told us that she was going to do back then. If you get to see this Dr Evans I am so very proud of you YOU GO GIRL!! and when we come to South Carolina we are definitely coming to visit.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS OFFICE..

Evans Counseling is a nice and friendly office. When you walk in the first you notice is the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is very amiable and the owner, Mrs. Evans, is poise, knowledgeable, and professional.
