Words cannot express how happy we are to have found Event Lab for our wedding planning!!! Luis GREATLY exceeded our expectations. He made the whole process seamless, from beginning to end. We spent not a single minute stressing over wedding plans! We trusted him completely with every aspect. He did amazing work making vendor arrangements, keeping us on track with payments / agreements, designing / ordering / mailing out our save the dates and invitations, creating a timeline, coordinating with the venue and all the vendors… the list goes on! There’s nothing he didn’t do. Our wedding day was perfect because of him. I was never nervous for a second, because I knew he had everything in control! Luis was not only our wedding coordinator, but a friend. He truly cared for us a couple and was our biggest supporter every step of the process. I could keep going on about how amazing our experience was, but it would be a novel. Don’t hesitate to book Event Lab for your wedding or event! It will be 100% worth it!!!

Long post, but that is how AMAZING she truly is! Rena and her team at Event Lab are absolutely incredible. When starting the process of finding a wedding planner, I decided to do a poll on Instagram to see who others would recommend and thankfully got a lot of awesome responses. Some planners were mentioned once or twice, but Rena was mentioned close to 20 times. Even more impressive than the amount of times mentioned, was the range of folks that mentioned her; different ages, different styles, etc., so I KNEW that she was an individual that could made it happen no matter what your idea of a "perfect" wedding day was. I hired her on and never looked back. We got married in March 2022 at Mision Lago and Rena handled it all. I am usually a very Type A person, but with her, I was relaxed and really let her take the reins because I truly did TRUST her, so it was so special when so much of it was a surprise to me on my wedding day. She is a total badass and our entire wedding weekend (she also planned our rehearsal dinner on the rooftop of the Epicurean, handled my hotel block, transportation, welcome gifts, etc.) was so EPIC. It was more than we could've ever imagined. I recommend her to everyone that asks. We have stayed friends since because that is the type of person she is - she truly cares about her clients and anyone would be LUCKY to have her on their team on the biggest day of your life. I included some photos. If you have never been to Mision Lago, please look up their photos of their barn. Rena and her team completely transformed this space for us, as the more country/antler accents did not fit my "boho" theme. She worked with her preferred vendors and brought in cranes to remove all existing lighting and built/created a hanging structure that they suspended flowers and basket lighting from. It looked straight out of Tulum. It was so cool! People were so impressed. She even worked with her vendors to build out a cell phone valet stand, as privacy was very important to us. We love her! If you want an amazing planner on your big day, look no further than Rena and her team at Event Lab. You will not regret it. -Brooke and Cameron Brate

Our wedding was beautiful !! Rena was very helpful with connecting us with various vendors and helping us plan the day to a tee. Rena was especially helpful on the day of the wedding, her hands on approach was much appreciated. She saw our vision of how we wanted the wedding to look and feel and brought it to life. She was very knowledgeable and familiar with the vendors we would need and all the details in-between. 10/10 highly recommend!

If I could rate Event Lab higher, I would. They do not miss a beat and their event services are surpassed by none. They put on the Gold Star Christmas Gala in Tampa, FL every year, but somehow manage to make it more beautiful and seamless than the last one.

If you need an event planner/coordinator… this is your company.

When choosing an event planner, we didn't know what to expect. Rena was able to help us take all of our ideas and turn it into a cohesive vision. She took the time to get to know me and my husband, ensuring that we both were able to take part in the planning process.

She is organized and transparent with constant updates, timelines and reminders. This made the whole planning process stress-free for our families and something we could actually enjoy doing together.

We never doubted that Rena had our best interest at heart. If something wasn't exactly perfect, Rena took it upon herself to do what she needed to do to fix it. She was also a voice of reason when we had different opinions and needed to make final decisions about flowers, decor, etc. I was also able to be creative with her and she helped me come up with less traditional twists like suspended florals or velvet linens.

During our wedding I didn't worry at all. Everything I was thinking, Rena had already done. Throughout this whole process she was always on her A-game (always a few steps ahead!), making her the best at what she does. It was an unbelievable feeling being able to just live in the moment the day of our wedding, rather than worrying if certain things were getting done.

Rena exceeded all of our expectations and was able to turn our vision into a reality. She helped us choose the best vendors and worked endlessly to make sure that we got everything that we wanted and we plan on using her again (and again, and again!)

Wow!!!! Rena and her team did such an amazing job with our wedding. The support, guidance and creativity they gave us made our wedding day absolutely perfect. They were always there to answer any questions we had and continue to carry out the wedding day beautifully. I was the calmest bride ever that day because we felt such taken care of!! My husband and I worked with Event Lab to plan our wedding on New Year's Eve, and I cannot recommend them enough! Rena & Luis recommended the best vendors and really brought our vision to life! We also chose to have the details of the reception be somewhat of a surprise (highly recommend doing this), and it took sooo much stress off of us and allowed us to really enjoy the night! We were so happy with how everything turned out and so thankful for them helping us piece together the perfect evening!!
