Maya and her team were AMAZING!!! While we only had day of coordinating she met with us several times prior to the wedding day. She gave me lots of guidance to make my daughter’s day the day of her dreams. Her vendors she suggested to us were amazing as well. Hannas day was perfect.

After getting engaged in May of 2023 and attempting to start the wedding planning process on my own, I quickly realized that I was going to need to hire a professional. I reached out to several wedding planners in the area and didn’t click with any of them….until I found Maya. I knew I wanted someone to hold my hand throughout the whole process so I chose her full service package. I hired her in August and we immediately set the date for 4/13/24 and got to work! Not only did she hold my hand throughout the whole process, she went above and beyond in every way possible. She walked me through every decision with patience and care, she completely understood my vision, and gave me the most professional and unbiased advice while staying extremely professional. She is amazing at her job, and all of our family and wedding party couldn’t agree more. It was because of her that we ended up with a DREAM TEAM of vendors. Our day couldn't have been more perfect and it’s all because of Maya. She is more than just a wedding planner. She is a problem solver, a networker who has the most amazing selection of vendors, and an overall compassionate human being that cares about making her client’s experience the best it can be. I would highly recommend her for wedding planning of all levels and I will forever be thankful to what she meant to my husband and I in making our day so special.

Hire Maya and her team. Because of them, we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Here’s more if that wasn’t enough- it’s the morning after our wedding, and other than deciding to marry each other, hiring Events by Harvey was the best choice we made. The thought of planning a wedding was incredibly daunting, but Maya and her team are relief in human form. She provided so many resources from checklists to tips for wording to vendor recommendations that were so valuable on their own. But Maya is the real magic. She made sure we had the day we wanted and advised us on details we hadn’t thought of or thought we’d be fine without (e.g. didn’t think lights sticks would matter but they were a HUGE hit). The way our vendors would light up when they found out we were working with Events by Harvey is a testament to Maya’s warmth and professionalism that are also shared by her team. Kasia was the lead for our rehearsal and post-rehearsal event. With her, every detail was covered and we simply got to enjoy the day before *the* day. I cannot sing their praises enough and will be forever grateful the made our day truly the best.

Maya was absolutely amazing and I recommend her to anyone that is interested in a wedding planner! She had everything planned out and organized so there was nothing to stress about the day of the wedding. My husband and I could enjoy our day stress free and got to focus on us. I cannot put into words how much I love and appreciate Maya. She made our day so special and everything leading up to it stress free. I am going to be recommending her to everyone I know that is getting married and all the vendors that she knows as well. I could not have asked for a more perfect day, and it was all because of her hard work. She worked around my crazy schedule and always made sure that I was happy with everything that was being done. Where do I even start? I cannot say enough about Maya. My husband and I were on a very tight budget planning our wedding; I wasn’t even originally planning on getting a wedding planner. I am so glad we did. Without Maya, our wedding would NOT have been possible. Maya is kind, attentive, reliable, and one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. She was always prompt, available if I ever needed her, and was always ready to go above and beyond. If you managed to read all of this, the last thing I’ll leave you with is this; Do it. Book her. If you were on a tight budget like I was, make it work. Maya will not disappoint. Forever grateful for her.

I cannot recommend Maya enough!!! She went above & beyond making sure everything was taken care of before, during & after the wedding. She was so sweet and helpful when I had a million questions!! I don’t think I would have gotten through wedding planning if it wasn’t for Events by Harvey!
