I was formerly skeptical about the need/value of wedding planners, but have to say following my daughter's recent wedding that the Events by Marylee team were critical to successfully pulling off our wedding day.

Marylee's team were knowledgeable, responsive and professional in all respects in the period leading up to the wedding as well as on wedding day itself. They provided sound advice on vendor options; communicated clearly; and followed through on whatever they said they would do. We emerged from the wedding with our sanity intact, and still had some time to enjoy the journey thanks to Marylee's team.

I'm not one to overly embellish with flowery adjectives, but will simply say that it was a pleasure to work with this team, and I would recommend them highly should you be in the market for an event planner. We had a lot of balls in the air, especially on the wedding day itself, and still managed to hold it together quite seamlessly. And that it a testament to the effective coordination that Marylee and team had with the array of constituent parties.

I highly recommend Events by Marylee for your next party! My daughter, who hosted a 90th birthday open house for me, put the festivities in Marylee's expert hands, and everything turned out perfectly: the ambiance, the food and drinks, and her staff. The guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did my daughter and I. After it was over, they left my apartment looking spotless. Kudos to Marylee and her friendly, accommodating, professional staff.

She is really focused on giving her clients an experience that really fits in with their vision. She does this in such a creative way, that really stands out to me. Marylee is the BEST! She just handled a Welcome Party for about 80 people at our home the evening before our daughter’s wedding and she and Eileen were nothing short of wonderful. They went the extra mile at every turn and are honestly the most caring and responsible professionals that I could ever recommend. I give them my highest recommendation.

I had a wonderful experience working with Chelsie from Events by Marylee. We worked with her on an epic 2 year birthday party for my daughter, and it was better than what I hoped it would be!

Based on our budget, I requested that Chelsie help me with organization, ideas, consultation, and support/help instead of full-scale party planning. She came up with tons of ideas for decorations, made lists of items for me to purchase, created a spreadsheet to help me stay on top of things, contacted and booked vendors, and helped me a TON with beautiful decorations on the day of the event. She was absolutely reliable, punctual, dedicated, warm, friendly, and on top of things. 10/10 I look forward to working with her again on all of our future events and would HIGHLY recommend!

Oh what a party and oh what a commitment to make it such. Marylee and her team were wonderful to work with in creating our backyard Summer celebration for 70. They delivered a great party with connections to all the services required - catering, complete bar, lighting, furniture, stage, tents and all the required personnel. Marylee and Chelsie were wonderfully attentive to our requests during the planning stage and had great connections through which to deliver on the plan. Their party staff (waitresses and bar staff) were professional and fully attentive to our guests. Marylee brought in Michael Ferro as the chef and his team did a great job as well. Next party we will have no hesitation coming back to Marylee!

Marylee and her team are absolutely outstanding! Marylee was responsive, helpful, patient, and a joy to work with throughout our wedding planning process. She helped us find vendors and even coordinated directly with our bar to help us stay organized. We had a reception where we had to outsource every single thing, decor, food, lighting, etc., and Marylee’s team went above and beyond ensuring everything was taken care of and looked beautiful. I had never worked with an event staffing company before so I had a hard time trusting my vision in someone else’s hands…but I never will have to worry again because we will use Marylee for all our future celebrations. Her team was beyond our expectations. They were all so helpful, kind, and fun and professional. We really got to be guests at our wedding, and we’re so grateful. Thank you Marylee!
