I LOVED working with Kayla with Events by Sofia for my wedding. Before we brought Kayla in, I was stressed and had no idea how to prioritize things. Every new wedding planning article I read left me even more confused than the last and I was terrified of over committing and overspending. Then Kayla stepped in about 45 days out and it felt like everything got infinitely smoother. She went above and beyond her job description as Month-Of Coordinator, offering vendor recommendations so I could check the final boxes and soothing my pre-wedding anxieties.

She was there for meetings with the florist and venue, and she came equipped with a long list of questions to make sure we covered all bases. By the time the big day arrived, she had a better idea of what we wanted than I did. Kayla made sure that I felt like a guest at my wedding, tackling all logistical elements and making sure I was taken care of at all times. As a side benefit, we received access to a planning website where I could control the master task list and make sure I was hitting any planning deadlines. I worked with Sofia as a photographer for a wedding in February and she was a joy to work with! Her professionalism and attention to detail is impeccable. She was very thorough during the planning process, considerate of each vendors’ needs and time requirements, and made sure the entire day ran smoothly.

Additionally, the Reception space that her team put together was STUNNING. They made sure that everything could be photographed well (clearing out the room of vendors once set up was complete for a wide shot, straightening silverware and plate settings for a close-ups, etc.). I couldn’t appreciate the attention to detail and dedication more!

I’ve worked with dozens of wedding planners/designers/coordinators, and Sofia is one of few that I’ll actually recommend to my couples. Fantastic to work with!
