We had a great time with Al as our guide. We loved seeing the nature and dip in the mangroves. We wish we had more time sight seeing the mangroves and maybe no beach drop off. However, this was a great way to see the Everglades , crocodiles , large birds and Al was extremely hard working and helpful to us. He tolerated us all fighting on our Kayaks for an hour ๐Ÿ™‚

We did the eco tour with captain Al today and had an exceptional experience. He was kind and knowledgeable about the local history & wildlife. We enjoyed beautiful beaches and kayaking through hidden mangrove tunnels all while seeing lots of birds, crocodiles, and marine life. If youโ€™re ever in the Everglades I highly recommend this tour with captain Al!

Maria was absolutely fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and such fun. Our entire group had a great time. We learned so much about this amazing national park. The Everglades are spectacular and such a unique place. We were so glad to have such an amazing naturalist to share her extensive knowledge with us. Make sure to ask for her local tips to enjoy your trip to the Keys. Thank you Maria, keep sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for an incredible place.

The diverse ecosystem of the Everglades can be best understood by seeing it in person. We visited the North entrance by a guided pontoon boat and the South entrance with a naturalist guide. Both guides did an excellent job pointing out the wildlife and the various trees and features that are unique to the Everglades. We are so blessed to have a National Park system to protect and nurture the natural wonders found throughout the USA!

We had an excellent outing with Captain Al. A fabulous day of getting up close to nature including a show given by the dolphins. I would highly suggest the six hour cruise. We enjoyed every minute of our time and Captain Al was the best!

We did the Nine Mile Pond paddle excursion. It was good, but not great. We were in canoes instead of kayaks and the maneuverability was somewhat limited. Our tour guide was OK, but we didnโ€™t really learn much new. The paddling through the mangroves was cool, but it was pretty tight and some of our group got stuck a little bit. Also, not a ton of wildlife on display, but thatโ€™s not something they can control. We enjoyed being out on the water and spending time in the wild. Any day outside is a good one!

We had a fantastic time with Captain Al exploring Florida Bay. This tour will get you away from the crowds and into some places that are impossible to see without your own boat. We first went to the canals and waterways near Lake Ingraham and kayaked past many crocodiles basking on the mudbanks. We were able to spot many egrets, spoonbills, and even a couple of flamingos flying overhead. For lunch we anchored off of Cape Sable and enjoyed our food on an empty beach. We explored a few more waterways after lunch then cruised across the bay back to Flamingo. Captain Al made us feel very comfortable with his expert knowledge of boating. He was able to navigate us up some very shallow channels and land us safely on the beach despite a particularly low tide. He also shared some interesting facts about the ecosystem and history of the area. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who likes wildlife and a little adventure!

My sister and I lucked out when we were the only 2 passengers on a six passenger adventure into the mangroves with Captain Al, our guide for the day on the Flamingo Bay Eco Adventure out of Flamingo Bay. Captain Al was fun, extremely accommodating, and a great tour guide. He took us to the mangrove forests where we saw lots of crocodiles sunning themselves, tons of birds and even a flamingo fly off into the unknown. Then we motored down to the southern most point of the continental United States and walked on the beautiful, sunny white beach. A trip full of natural wonders!
