Best B&B I have stayed in! Brian and Jen are so kind and extremely personable. You feel so welcome and comfortable like it’s your own home. This house is so unique and the experience was as well. Beverages were always available, and they had their own tavern on the side with a fully stocked bar! The food was incredible and they changed the menu daily so you had quite the variety. The grounds are beautiful and the puppies are so well behaved and adorable of course. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and cannot wait to come back!

I'm not sure where to start. I surprised my wife of 42 years to spend a night at a B&B. I am so happy I picked Evergreen Inn! When we arrived we were welcomed most like a family member, and shown around the inside.
Brian greeted us with a friendly smile, took our bags to our room, and told us the history of this beautiful home.
As he showed us our room, it was beautifully decorated, and most importantly one of the cleanest I have ever seen. After just a short while, we met his wife Jen, she welcomed us just like Brian did, and we sat and talked in the pub that Brian built.
An amazing pub it is, and anything we wanted was as Brian said "on the house". I was flabbergasted! A pub with any beers, wine, and top shelf liquors? Yes, it's most certainly true!
The best is yet to come, we were asked what time we would like to have breakfast by Jen, and to our surprise we had a breakfast like none we have never had. A delicious 5 or 6 (so much food I don't remember) course most delicious we have ever experienced. I want to thank Jen and Brian for making us feel like we were family, and unfortunately in New England...it was to cold to go in the beautiful in ground pool, I know we will return next summer to enjoy that as well. If you are just getting married, or married for many years like us, I know you will enjoy every moment that you spend with them. Thank you Brian and Jen, we will be back.

This was our first stop on our honeymoon and we fell in love with it. You’re welcomed by soft lighting and a Fraser fir aroma and the sweetest hosts Brian and Jen. We stayed in the Admiral Aston room and wow! Spacious, beautiful, the comfiest bed, deck overlooking the fall leaves. The bathroom was beautiful. So clean, beautiful wooden floors and tasteful decor. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we loved the variety. The fireplace - unreal. Jen shared the history of the home over coffee, such a great story. We will be back! Thank you!

Beyond impressed and in love with this place! From the moment I walked through the doors and the scents that filled the air to the delicious food and amazing service provided by this husband and wife team, I cannot sing their praises enough!
We had a beautiful bridal shower here and now all I can think about is when I’m coming back! Thank you Jen & Brian!

From the personal greeting to the comfortable beds to the phenomenal breakfasts, our stay was very enjoyable. We have found a new favorite place to stay when we visit the area. The pool looked inviting, but the weather was too cool to enjoy a dip. Thank you Jennifer and Brian!

I have the opportunity to visit this B&B and was blown away by the beauty of the property, the charm us of the rooms and the amazing food! I cannot wait to go back again! Jen and Brian are such wonderful host and do an amazing job of making each cast feel welcomed and valued!

Driving between NYC and Boston we stopped to visit a relative in Southbury. Realizing we were exhausted, we thought that if we could find a nice place we'd stay over. Wow! We hit the jackpot! The inn is in a historic district so a walk in any direction is a joy for history buffs and lovers of old buildings. As we drove into the beautiful property --old trees, blooming hydrangeas, manicured gardens, we met Brian, the innkeeper coming from the pool. ||Every detail at this historic and beautifully maintained and updated property is perfect. Our room --beyond comfortable and lovely. And the breakfast was the best I have ever had in an inn, b&b or hotel. Turns out Brian and his wife, Jennifer, were caterers before they bought the inn. Multi-course, freshest ingredients. and delicious., fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. In the summer bring your bathing suit for a dip in the small pool. Not for lap swimming, it invites relaxing with a book, snack, or snooze.||If 18th and 19th century history and architecture interest you, ask Jenn or Brian for a tour of the historic buildings... one was moved there from across the street in the 19th century-- and find out what that discreet door on the side of the fireplace was used for!||I am not prone to hyperbole. But if you don't love cookie-cutter chain hotels or "atmospheric" b&b's --- check out the Evergreen Inn.

Lovely B&B. The Admiral Aston suite was roomy with a comfortable bed and fireplace. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is amazing - better than any restaurant! A mist visit.
