A Great Extended Stay Experience in Wilkes-Barre - Highly Recommend!
I am currently staying at the Extended Stay America in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and I couldnt be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived the staff has been consistently friendly, helpful, and they go above and beyond to ensure my comfort.

The hotel itself offers exactly what you need for a longer stay: comfortable rooms equipped with kitchenettes, making it easy to prepare meals and save on dining costs. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and any minor requests I have are addressed promptly. The on-site laundry facilities are also a huge convenience.

However, what truly sets this Extended Stay America apart is the exceptional staff.

He is a true asset to this hotel. Aaron's professionalism, approachability, and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident in every interaction. He was always available to answer questions, address any concern. He has gone out of his way on several occasions to assist me, and his positive attitude was infectious.

Thanks to the comfortable accommodations and the outstanding service, particularly from Aaron and the entire team, my extended stay in Wilkes-Barre is truly pleasant one. Double charged me for several days of my stay totaling over $700 currently in dispute over a month later. Claimed the extra charges weren't even in their system. Room was amazing, but for the love of everything do not give them a second card to charge or they WILL charge both.

Positive: Two bedroom with KItchen. The kind lady as the front deck let me check in early to get the dogs settled. She also multi tasked, helping to clean rooms. All request taken care of.Beds very comfortable. Bedding clean. Negative: The facility is being used to house permanent residents, I did not feel safe letting a child go out of the room by themself..THe Hotel had an odor , probably due to noncompiance to no smoking.NO utensils for kitchen. Had to buy spoons, bowls and cups

I've been staying here about 3 weeks now and the management makes it so much fun and making you feel you're at home away from home. Rooms are great, service is great location super easy right off the highway. Whatever issues I have is taken cared of asap and they extended my stay no problem until my apartment is ready to move in

We made a reservation to stay for two days expecting a good experience. However, after checking in for the first night, we decided to stay elsewhere the second night. Mike at the Front desk was phenomenal. A real professional. Everything went downhill from there. Mike explained that the included breakfast touted by the call center had been discontinued months earlier. We were told that guests were asked to bring their trash to a dumpster outside. The room had a strong and offensive smell of marijuana, which eventually dissipated by airing out the room, even though it was December. The counter was sticky and the floor had a piece of wrapped candy and rubber bands on the floor. In the bathroom the floor as spongy around the shower and toilet because the floor grout was not maintained and missing in a few areas. And one of the guests we saw at the elevator asked us if the guests in one of the rooms near the elevator checked out, as we were told they kept their door open most of the time and were partying most of each night. And one of the remotes was not working. Oh well, we left in the morning never to stay at an Extended Stay again.

Stayed here for almost 2 months. Aaron is great and extremely helpful with anything you need. The staff at the front desk have always been kind and have never had any major issues. The location for the hotel is great and really close to Sheetz and Mohegan Sun, and also the 7 Tubs Park and numerous attractions inside of Wilkes Barre. The rooms are a little bit older however for the price they are pretty decent it was also pretty clean. The view out of the 4th floor is absolutely beautiful. There is a covered patio and a nice grill outside. I grilled some nice burgers while it was snowing really great time. Besides that the place is generally pretty quiet and pretty safe. Aaron and the staff and the police take extra care to make sure the hotel is pretty safe and ive seen police around numerous times just patrolling the area.
Is this a 5 star hotel. No definitely not but for the price you pay it is a absolute bargain of a place. And I would definitely come back to stay again if needed.

So once I entered the place I was greeted by the hotel manager Aaron and he was very helpful thoughtful understanding and took care of us right away and then I came to my room and the place was beautiful it had all the anemones has a stove it has a dishwasher a sink to wash dishes in a full refrigerator a microwave TV cable TV the bathrooms are lovely the beds are wonderful to sleep in a great size and desk to write on and do my art on and me and my girlfriend we have a lot of fun here the staff are awesome they treat you with respect and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in Wilkes-Barre area the prices are awesome for what you get and it's located in an awesome area as well but again the staff here are the best though and I've been in a lot of hotels in this area and this is the place that I come to with my girlfriend to make babies huh yeah I'm sure

Hair all around in the bathroom. A wad of it. Hair in the sink hair and other trash in the carpet and floors not swept. Smoke coming from rooms with the smell of ciga-weed. Dogs as big as ponies roaming the halls. Got a refund and left. Not seen this kind of filth in a while. Pathetic. Management needs to pay closer attention to the staff. Front desk guy was excellent and truly embarrassed by what I found. I’m have pictures
