Last night we were in the area and choose this hotel. We checked in late and were pleasantly welcomed. The check in representative so friendly and helpful.|The hotel looked brand new. Everything was so clean.|The beds are not that comfortable. However the staff makes up for that.|In the morning I meet Raquel: Miss Sunshine!! She was SO NICE! She also gave us 20% coupons for Metro diner.|Thanks Miss Sunshine ☀️

We stayed here earlier this week while we were visiting family. The staff were all nice, helpful, and courteous. The lobby and our room were clean. We stayed in Room 101 right around the corner from the main desk and the eating area and we couldn't hear anything! They also took many precautions in preparing the sidewalks and parking lot for the snow. Will definitely stay here again on future visits!

This hotel definitely surpassed my expectations. I typically don't spend so much on accommodations, particularly when I am traveling alone and only using the room as a place to stop for the night, but this was a treat.

The gentleman who checked me in was professional and got me a room quickly, which I appreciated after 11 hours behind the wheel.

I was traveling with my small dog, and I could not get over how nice the room was, considering that it was dog friendly. There was no smell of pets and no awful chemical smell covering anything up. It was pristine.

Besides being super clean, I loved the layout. The mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave were neatly tucked into a wall nook, with a closet on the other side. There were hooks for hanging my coat as well.

The chairs and bed were comfortable, and the flat screen tv was huge; overall, the room had plenty of lighting.

The bathroom was immaculate and spacious, with a walk-in shower and complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash in large pump bottles attached to the wall. The towels were big enough to cover my body, and I loved that they were made in the US.

I went downstairs for some late night hot chocolate from their 24-hour coffee bar. I usually skip sugar, but I couldn't pass up the espresso simple syrup.

Breakfast was amazing with plenty of options, including healthy choices.

Overall, the location felt very safe. The area was well-lit and great for taking a longer than average dog walk. There were also several restaurants within walking distance.

Most of the Fairfield Inns I have stayed in over the years have been on the meh side, but this one was exceptional.

NICE! NICE! NICE!
I have been to so many hotels I cannot count but what I do
remember is when I come across a NICE hotel. This place
in Middletown DE is it! Clean, everything was up to date
staff accommodated my late check out request for 1 hour.
I did not go to breakfast but the area looked very clean.
Sheets smelled clean like fresh washed and not just from
the commercial cleaner. Full size bathroom shower water
did not get as hot as I like it but I won't complain.
This is a nice hotel and I do not say that often. I do not
know if I will ever be in Delaware again but I def enjoyed
my stay. Oh and the Texas Roadhouse is right next door
and they have coupons for your dining visit.

I’ve stayed at many Fairfield Inns and this was at the top of the list. Every Fairfield looks the same from the outside. Even the lobby is mostly updated. A large part of what makes a 3 Star vs a 5 Star Fairfield is how old the rooms are, the quality of the breakfast and the staff. This Fairfield opened in the fall of 2022. Raquel and the other staff were friendly and helpful. The fresh brownies that were there all day were a nice addition.

Our room was as nice as expected. I liked that they had a few hooks around the room for hanging up clothes or bags. There were USB A outlets by both beds and the desk. These need to be updated to type C. The desk had two duplex type A. At a minimum one should be type C. A small issue as they had AC outlets where we could plug in our AC chargers.

This is the first Fairfield Inn that I’ve seen EV charging at. There was a 4 plug Blink Charging Station in the parking lot. As new EV owners we will be looking for Fairfield Inns with EV charging. We drive to Florida two or three times each year. Two other Fairfields we would normally stay at before our EV are now off our list of places to stay. I hope this changes soon.

They were sincere and accommodating when we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency. Hotel is clean, room was equipped with microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge. Large flat screen tv, shower was clean and esthetic.
Beds were a bit firm for me and no safe to keep any personal items. I thought the breakfast spread was decent and they had delicious fresh hot coffee!!Great location with restaurants and plenty of shopping!

very unprofessional and unorganized. I had booked a 2 queen bedroom. I arrived to check in and was informed that no rooms were available however I paid extra for 2 beds vs 1 king. the front desk did not even mention this inconvenience. they gave me keys to a room and as I entered the room I noticed it was not what I paid for. no consideration. It was as if they didn’t think I would have remembered what I paid for. no accommodation. no responsibility being taken. I’ve been trying to reach the manager for days and she has not been in for about 5 days now. this hotel does not care to accommodate their guests. even though THEY overbooked.

The room smelled like a man had slept in the room. The sheets on one of the beds looked someone had slept on them. Front desk had difficulty with their computers. Location is difficult to get into. It's like a maze.
