Beautiful small park. Butterflies and flowers everywhere. The walkway is easy going. The top part has lots of steps, but worth it. The waterfall is pretty, bigger with more rain. I love the natural smooth stone along the stream. Lots to explore, and it's fun to walk up the stream.

This is the perfect mix between a trail and a park, making nature accessible and enjoyable. The entire route is about 0.85 miles but it includes many beautiful and interactive spots, such as smaller and a larger waterfall, convenient bridges and a staircase. During my walk I have seen families with young children, some elderly individuals and people walking their dogs. Most parts of the trail are easy, and one can choose how far to go or which part of the trail to access (the top entrance is closer to the waterfall but requires going down the stairs). Much shade, relatively peaceful and absolutely gorgeous

This trail took us about an hour and 30 mins to explore. The environment is so beautiful and the waterfall was really cool to see. The stream was really clear, we saw chipmunks and cats. A nice peaceful place to go to soak up some nature with your family.

This is a great place to walk and bring the dog. The path is relatively flat, bridges are in great shape. Keep the dog on leash, several areas have big drop offs to the creek, a little scary for me but of plenty of walking room.

Very nice park. Great trails with great scenery. The waterfall is neat to see. During the winter the waterfall freezes and makes great photos. This park is a short distance from one end to the other. The trail is clear and clean. Normally flat other than the steps going up next to the main waterfall. During the rain you can spot multiple waterfalls here. It is a unique and very scenic place. If you enjoy walking and nature this place is for you. I highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a quick break to get out and "touch grass" this park has a short hike that peaks with a gorgeous waterfall. Great for the novice that wants to start walking. The path is well marked with plenty of bridges. Nice for dog walking (as long as they are on a leash) or getting the kids outside. Very shaded for those hot days. The creek is accessible at some points if you want to splash around a bit. There are parking spots, a port-a- potty and kiddie playground at the entrance. Most and foremost some amazing views & sights. This is why its called Shale-r.
