UPDATE - AS OF DEC 26 2024, BOTH CATS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!

We've adopted cats from them several times. They screen all prospective adopters to make sure their pets will placed in good homes.

Pictures are of Dancer and Devon who are available for adoption right now. We originally adopted them but our senior cat was always fighting with them. They are both caring and lovable sister cats who love to play and show their affection. We were heart broken when we had to return them.

Please stop by and take a look at these adorable and loving siblings.

I called about having my cat fixed and when they called back this morning i was blown away at what they told me.
First you have to go to a prior check up which is almost $200 then they schedule you for an appointment to have your cat spayed. The spay is $320.
They are not cheaper than the regular vets office.
They advertise low cost spay and neuter clinic. There is nothing low cost about it. This place has become like everywhere else. GREED.
I wonder if they tell the places that give them grants they charge over $500 for spay.

It's like a car dealer ship. No wonder they are inundated with animals. I could not touch or pet a cat. They said, they didn't have rabies shots yet. Hummm. They handled with no gloves. Maybe they thought I had rabies. Just not cozy. You don't want someone standing over you. Jmo. Like I'm going to steal a cat? I'll go on Craigslist or Facebook. I would not recommend this place. When Sharon was there it was amazing.

Had to get growths removed on my dog. They took excellent care of him and made sure I understood everything going on and what he needed after the surgery. Would definitely recommend them.

Phenomenal place. The staff is amazing when we adopted two guniea pigs. They even discounted the adoption fee and gave us a cage to transport for super low. On top of that they included two bags of gifts that the piggy really love. Would highly recommend if you plan to get any animal. Thank you so much!

Dr Brown is by far the most knowledgeable and financially fair vet out of the 4 veterinarians that we took our dog to. The other 3 told me I had to put my dog down. At the time she was only 1 year old and suffering from kidney failure but Dr Brown seemed to think that the other vets were missing something. He examined her, prescribed another medication and she is doing much better. First State Animal Center and Dr Brown proved to be the best vet around! We cannot thank them enough!

Just ten minutes late. Took wrong turn. Dog needs to be drugged or put under for simple nail clipping. Nobody in the waiting room. Dog is drugged. One tech was excuse for rescheduling? Nobody in there. Nobody walking in. Nobody in the parking lot. So had to leave? Drive all the way home to come back again tomorrow and drug the dog again? Unacceptable. Usually very happy with how they handle our pets here. Not today. Unacceptable.
