Private tour in Moscow.Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and charming lady. We were fortunate to have Vera as our tour guide for 2 days and would have been happy with 2 more. She came up with with a great itinerary and we saw some very interesting must see and off the beaten track things for us to see, such as the local flea market, Cold War period architecture, the Cosmonaut museum and a nice lunch in Master and Margarita cafe. And it was logistically well-run! We had a great time. Thanks, Vera!

Alina met us promptly at the airport, helped to find the luggage storage area, and we set out for our brief five hours of touring Moscow.She took us on the train and metro, which we would never have figured out on our own. We enjoyed our walk around Red Square and The Kremlin, as well as the modern shopping centre. Alina was so considerate of whatever pace we wanted to keep and her graciousness was so appreciated.We would highly recommend this guide and tour to anyone wishing to see Moscow.Truly amazing!

I couldn't have been happier with Dasha as my local guide in Moscow. She is so knowledgeable and professional, and yet extremely friendly, smiley, attentive and enthusiastic about the city and places. She even showed me some of historical photos and maps to help make the history come alive. Those were my happiest 3 hours in Moscow. Very interesting!

I took a metro tour with Friendly Local Guides. It was a 2-hour tour which was ideal for this kind of tours, and the guide was really fun and friendly. Our guide was more than just a guide. Not only she talked about the history about the Metro in general and each station in particular, but also told us fun stories, joked, was very lively and enthusiastic, and took photos of us and sent to our emails, which I think was a great thing to do!
Then i went to St Petersburg...
I was on a budget and took a 3-hour tour of St Petersburg’s highlights. I’ve never walked that much in 3 hours, but what I heard, saw, learnt and experienced was incredible. The most saturated and active 3 hours of my life! Amazing tour! Thank you!

My husband and I had one of their friendly local guides for a 2 day tour of St Petersburg. They customised our tour based on the list of attractions and places we wanted to see. We asked to include Peter and Paul Cathedral last minute and they made it happen. Our guide’s level of English is very good. We had a nice Soviet-style lunch in a cozy cafe with traditional Russian interior, posters, paintings, wallpaper, accessories and furniture. Very interesting! We enjoyed our time, highly recommended!

Jewish tour!
We did a last minute trip arriving from St Petersburg to Moscow via the Sapsan speed train. Our guide was right there to meet us at the train station, which was a great start. She took us on a 8 hour walking tour of the main sites of Jewish Heritage: Jewish Museum & Tolerance Center, Museum of the Jewish History in Russia and Holocaust memorial synagogue, and had a kosher lunch. After that she took us back to the train station and made sure we get on the right train. We were very pleased and happy. Amazing day!

I went on the Izmaylovo flea market and Kremlim tour with Alina in June. She was a fantastic tour guide – very enthusiastic (even early in the morning!) and knowledgeable about all areas of Moscow, and also friendly and personable, with lots of great suggestions for where else for me to visit once the tour had ended. I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Alina for a personal and insightful tour of Moscow!
