My wife and I just returned from the 10 Day Kaleidoscope of Ecuador with Andes Mountains & Amazon. It was amazing!!

Our guide Javier was excellent as was our bus driver Alexis. Javier was so knowledgable and he went above & beyond throughout this trip like stopping at roadside fruit stands to buy fruit for all of us to try on the bus. Javier also prepared an Ecuadorian fruit dinner with the fruits from the roadside stands and produce market which was delicious!! Ecuador was a beautiful country with very friendly people, incredible landscape, and great food.

The hotel accommodations were excellent as were all of our meals.

Just came back from the Switzerland/France Christmas market tour which I thoroughly enjoyed. The tour was much more than I expected and the tour manager Victoria was very kind and helpful and led a diverse group well. I especially loved the smaller Christmas market in Obernai, France and the boat ride in Lugano and the trip to the Alps. The local guides were great as well especially in Basel. Overall it was just wonderful and the group we had was very supportive of each other. British Airways travel over was rough. We were upgraded on the way back which was lovely. But the air travel was the only tough part of the trip for me.

My first time traveling alone internationally, and needless to say I was so skeptical about how all of it is gonna work out . But everything was so well planned by Gate1, that I felt at ease, and at home . The accommodations, breakfasts , the hospitality, and the local guides were all so great . A special shout out to Dean and Lukasz who are not only knowledgeable, organized, but so courteous, friendly and kept us safe .To be honest it was very sad to leave them behind, and I do miss time spent with them . I really would want to have the same duo for my future Europe trips with Gate1. Hopefully it works out. Thanks Gate1 once again for such a memorable experience .

My daughter and I took a 9 day trip to Iceland through Gate 1 tours.
Everything was taken care of, from the flight to the hotels, bus tours around the country, and even several meals.
Our local guide Thorarinn (Thor) was extremely knowledgeable and so wonderfully open and friendly.
It is a busy, physical tour so be aware of that. I certainly recommend the trip and hope you are lucky enough to have Thor as your guide.

My first international travel and wasn’t exactly sure what my experience would be. Upon arrival our driver was waiting for us promptly at the Athens airport. George greeted us and chatted with us on our way to the Hotel. We were met at the hotel and given our room keys. We had a greet and meet where everything was explained what our day would be like. Vivian was a great host and tour manager, extremely knowledgeable in her country and history. Each day was an adventure. Felt safe and in capable hands by our bus driver. I learned so much about Greece. The beauty and the challenges of this country. Thank you for the amazing experience.

I used Gate 1 Travel for a recent trip to Italy. This was my first time to use Gate 1, and I will definitely use them again. The entire trip was well organized, including the numerous optional tours we could take. There was also ample time for individuals to explore.

Our guide, Giuseppe, was excellent - shared deep insights, engaged with a broad group of clients, offered wonderful suggestions for meals, shops, and activities.

Love vacationing with gate one. We have done several trips through gate one and have enjoyed them very much. The guides are always very knowledgeable about local culture and we've even had a couple of guides who were professionally specialized in history or zoology.
