This venue is absolutely fantastic. Every second of it was perfect all due to the planer and our day of planner. Everything was figured out for us and no stress what so ever. They had everything handled and decorated to perfection. I would recommend to anyone and everyone who wants a small wedding.

Gateley Hill Gardens was an absolutely amazing venue for my daughter’s recent wedding. Crystal made the planning so easy and the day was absolutely perfect! The scenery as well as the flowers for the ceremony and reception were gorgeous and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It was well worth the travel from Illinois to experience this beautiful spot!

We had an intimate wedding here on July 2nd, and I am still marveling over how smoothly and sweetly the day went! The venue is gorgeous and timeless and the location is beautiful, but Crystal’s creative vision is what sets Gateley Hill Gardens apart. She is flexible, imaginative, and hard-working!

I had multiple meetings with Crystal about my vision and especially the florals—a huge benefit of getting married at a flower farm—and she exceeded my expectations! Jordan our planner was detail-oriented and diligent helping us behind the scenes, and our coordinator Anna was professional, empathetic, and attentive without being micromanaging. My husband and I were able to enjoy our day without stress and were so glad we chose such an intimate and exquisite venue!

My daughter chose this venue for her wedding, and we had such a joyous, peaceful day! My daughter handled the conversations with Crystal and her staff, and she was very happy with how everything aligned with what she had envisioned.
The physical location itself is beautiful, with rolling hills, a mountain in the background, and a flower farm. The chapel and reception hall were just the right size for the number of guests (~65). There was a space for the bridesmaids to get ready on site and to keep needed items out of sight. The buildings are designed in a very neutral way that allows for a wide variety of styles.
The flowers Crystal put together were amazing: the bouquets, the table arrangements, the greenery - everything looked sumptuous but not overdone. The table settings and even name cards were so lovely.
The kind attention of the staff, though, might be the best part. As the mother of the bride, I really appreciated being able to rest and enjoy the day, and to watch my daughter do the same. It was so unexpected but fabulous to realize we were "hosting" a party but did not need to think about anything except our family and friends! Jordan (planner) and Anna (day-of coordinator) attended to all that was needed and requested, graciously prompting the wedding party through getting dressed and photos, dinner and dancing. Crystal and Josh worked tirelessly and cheerfully all day, facilitating everything from sound to serving to sweeping up afterwards.
Highly, highly recommend.

Gateley Hill Gardens hosted my elopement with my husband this past November. Crystal put together my wedding in 2 weeks and texted me throughout the week with suggestions/ideas. She made everything so easy and absolutely perfect! I wanted a beautiful, intimate fall wedding without having to do all the work and she made it happen so quickly. Crystal is so talented but also genuine and sweet. I recommend this place to any bride that wants an elopement or small wedding. You won’t regret it!

Gateley Hill Gardens is such a gem in the River Valley !! The venue is so adorable, done simple and clean for the PERFECT backdrop to any event! We had a bridal shower at Gateley Hill Gardens and it couldn’t have been ANY better from the decor, the gorgeous florals and the attention given by Crystal!
