On April 5th, 2024, my family and I stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Munster, IN and were bitten by bed bugs that were in our room. We woke up the next morning to itching and biting sensations on our skin. To our discovery, there were bed bugs on the sheets, under the mattress pad, and old dried up blood stains on the sheets. Grand Hotel Corporation's insurance carrier has practiced bad faith regarding this matter, despite evidence showing the hotel did not meet the standards of duty for it's guest. This incident has traumatized my family and I.
