We just completed a rock climbing course with James from Geology Rocks and we had such a fab time from start to finish.
James is very knowledgeable, personable and a great guy to hang out with for the day. We got to do loads of climbing whilst learning lots too. The day flew in.
We were all new to climbing so as you can imagine some nerves but James has a way of helping build your confidence and challenging you to keep going. It was honestly a pleasure to spend the day at the quarry and I would highly recommend James and his company Geology Rocks.
We will most definitely be back for more climbing and to check out some of the other activities he does like coasteering, bouldering and lots more.
Thank you James for making our intro into climbing such a fun and enjoyable experience.

What a great way to spend a weekend hiking across the beautiful Mourne mountains completing challenges lead by James and his team along the way. Topped off by an amazing BBQ and wild camp then bouldering at Bloody Bridge. The mourne mountain challenge is perfect for anyone who wants to experience the best of our beautiful wee country and meet great people along the way. Had 2 days.. 1 in the quarry to get in lots of climbs followed by a day in mountains for some bigger climbs. We 2 adults and 2 girls age 14 and 16, were treated fantastically by James and Louise. I felt really safe which was important because they they were charge of the ropes holding you up. A great 2 days.

Myself and my partner went on the Geology Rocks in the Mournes Adventure on the 18th Feb and it was such a great day out! James shared his passion for geology on the walk up to Cove. He managed to cover how Ireland formed, how the Atlantic came to be, how different rocks are formed and how to identify them, he pointed out features in the landscape that showed traces of glaciers. We learned about raised beaches, WWII shrapnel and cool places to visit in the area. James provided all the gear for abseiling and rock climbing and I felt completely safe throughout even when stepping off the small cliff! We got to do a bit of caving which I had never done before, this was also great fun. I will definitely sign up for more events I couldn't recommend them more!

Myself and a Friend had a rock climbing day with geology rocks on Saturday on Cove Mountain. The instructor Andrew was very helpful and professional in guiding us. Would defintely recommend geology Rocks to anyone thinking of a rock climbing day.

I contacted James @ Geology Rocks to organise an adventure activity for some of my gym members. I knew about Geology Rocks as my daughter attended one of his summer camps in July and had the best time. We had the most amazing time paddleboarding along Greencastle, James and Sarah were so professional and friendly, the craic was 90!! We will definitely be back! Thanks GEOLOGY ROCKS.
