Decent ....bought the 5 day pass. After two days here I've visited 360 Chicago, done an architectural boat tour, visited museum of illusions and Field Museum.

Tomorrow plan is to have a look at Skydeck Chicago, Navy Pier, Flyover and use the Big Bus hop on hop off also.

So after two days I've gotten $130 value and tomorrows looks like another $130...that's break even from 5 day pass over 3 days. Might try Griffin Museum, the aquarium and another boat trip on over last 2 days of the pass which would be another $100 worth.

My verdict is 3 day option likely best value if you're on a budget. The two viewing places and the bus tour would almost cover the price of the 3 day pass.

Edit: a very wet Sunday meant day 3 didn't happen so was glad I got the 5 day pass.

One must keep time to wander on the L also which is really, really fab and almost free (7 day pass $20 plus $5 for the card)

Go City cards are incredible! I have used it in 2 cities so far, Boston and Chicago. Both gave us a plethora of information and options, and ultimately a starting point to explore without having to do much research. Both saved us TONS of money on admission fees to all of the attractions. Each time I opted for a 3 day all-inclusive pass, with the hop on/hop off and duck boat tours being the most informative parts. In each city we did tours that we wouldn't have otherwise spent the money on, but that ended up being some of our favorite sites. The site maps on the app are super helpful when it comes to making plans. We saved over $300 in Boston and $360 per person in Chicago, and we left both places feeling like we had really gotten a feel for the areas.

We purchased a three day city pass. We thought it had great value and a lot of things that you can do. The hop on hop off bus was included for a two day pass, which was great. We were able to go to plenty of the major attractions with it, including aquarium, the museum, sculptural, and architectural tour Chicago 360 and the Willis Tower, Among many others. We hit 11 attractions over the three days. There were more that we could’ve done, but we could not get to all of them. The one thing that is a challenge is that a lot of the attractions have rather short hours, so fitting in more than a few in a day is difficult. That’s not a pass issue, but just consideration as to how useful it can be for you depending on your schedule. As well the only thing I would recommend would be if we could more prominently seeing prior to or before purchase which attractions require pre-booking/require pre-booking To make sure that you can get your monies worth. We were lucky we were able to get into everything we want to. And we were actually there on a very beautiful summer weekend in August, the weekend right before the DNC so Chicago was extra busy. But upon purchase, it would be nice if it sent you a link prompting you to pre-book attractions once purchased. As it stands, you have to go into each individual activity to see whether or not a pre book is required. on two occasions, we arrived at places we did not expect to require a pre-booking to find out that we did. Fortunately, we were able to get into both, but it would’ve been nice to have a prompt after buying the pass to quickly and easily do that.

With the city pass, you’ll find yourself doing a lot of activities that otherwise you might not do. For example, we might not have gone into museums and may have instead gone off to other locations of the city just to explore. So it’s worth considering how you like to travel before purchasing, but overall great value and it was fairly easy to use.

A very convenient way to tour Chicago. Absolutely a money saver. I got mine from Groupon and the only thing you need is to call them to activate it. It works very well with the Android app and you need no paper tickets at all. There are lots of packages to choose from. Plus you save time by not waiting in lines on some attractions. I will use it for other cities as well as I was very satisfied on my first try.

Great experiences for the price. We did the all inclusive and visited the Willis tower Sky Deck, Art Museum, Planetarium, Navy Pier, Aquarium, Architecture Skyline boat tour and the hop on/hop off bus tour for about $100per person for the two day pass. Much cheaper than buying the tickets individually. Well worth it, also used the bus tour as a way to get around the city. Heads up the planetarium required reservations for the shows and the Art Museum is no longer accepting the gocity pass. Also make your reservations in advance!!!!!!

The Go Chicago pass is different from the City pass just starting out so keep that in mind. Overall it's still a great value. It doesn't offer as many attractions but still has a great variety.

Awesome package for seeing city attractions. I got the inclusive package which you can see sights multiple times over the course of days you pick. Visited Chicago’s field museum twice since it definitely took more than one afternoon to see everything with kids

I would advise not choosing the Go City Chicago pass. The pass sounds like a good value pass but it does include the Shed Aquarium or the Art Institute which are two attractions that we wanted to see. Instead purchase the City Pass for Chicago which includes both those major attractions. It is a bit more expensive but we'll worth the extra cost. The Go City pass worked flawlessly when loaded on to your phone. I added it to Google Wallet making it easy to find. If you are fine with the attractions they have the Go City will be fine for you. I just didn't look carefully at the restrictions on my Explorer pass. Ticket attendents told us the City Pass was the better pass to purchase.
