Brittni was amazing as a guide to the history of Philadelphia both the traditional and demented. Although, the scariest aspect was the stories were true about the founding people of our country. Brittni is highly knowledgeable and energetic. I would highly recommend this tour rather than the same old traditional tours so you can learn more about the oddities of our history. My colleague and I took the Founding Fathers and Historic Sites of Philadelphia walking tour guided by Joseph. Joseph was phenomenal. He guided our group very well, answered all questions we asked, and explained each site very thoroughly. I would love to take a tour guided by him again.

As for the tour itself, it was amazing. We got to see many incredible sights surrounding the founding of our nation including the outside of Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Carpenter’s Hall, Christ Church, Benjamin Franklin’s grave and home foundation, Elfreth’s Alley, and many more. If it’s your first time in Philly and you love history, definitely give this tour a try!

The Dark Philly Adult Tour was not what I expected but it gave me everything I needed and more! The tour guide was this awesome guy named Ted who has a great sense of humor and a lot of knowledge about the nitty gritty history of Philly. Be warned: THIS IS NOT A GHOST TOUR! There are some stories involving ghosts but if you’re hoping for something spooky this ain’t it. This is a history tour that tells you everything they don’t tell you in school! Wear some comfy shoes because it is a walking tour and it lasts about two hours.

Our guide was great. Knowledgeable, with a fun sense of humour and a clear love for US history. His flair for the dramatic and use of props added to the tour. We learned some things and had a great two hours at the birthplace of American democracy! Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about this history in a fun and engaging tour.
