I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Peoria, IL, and unfortunately, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that the hotel had not met basic cleanliness standards, which was extremely frustrating.

The room itself was in poor condition, with visible signs of neglect. There was blood on the wall, which was unsettling, and a used face mask was left on the shelf. These are issues that should never be overlooked. Additionally, the floor and walls were dirty, which made the overall environment feel unclean and uncomfortable.

Even more surprising was the discovery of a plunger placed right by the ice machine. This just felt unprofessional and unhygienic. To make matters worse, the hot water for the morning shower was barely lukewarm, which was a huge letdown, especially when you expect basic amenities to work properly.

Lastly, storing coffee in the bathroom was a strange choice and a clear sign that the attention to detail was lacking throughout the property.

On top of all these issues, the staff was unhelpful and, frankly, rude. Instead of addressing my concerns, they seemed uninterested in making the situation right by coming up with numerous excuses. This left a bad impression and further dampened my stay.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this Hampton Inn, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming place to stay. It's unfortunate because this hotel has potential, but it clearly needs serious improvements in both cleanliness and customer service.

The stay here was more than expected. Visiting a grandson at Bradley University, it was nice to be north of town and not deal with downtown traffic. There was a mall across the street, but no noise traffic at the hotel. The room was very comfortable. Staff were outstanding, especially Sandra at the front desk. The room was nicely set up and the beds were comfortable. Have already recommended this hotel to other family members.

Stayed here for business for the week and was pleasantly surprised at staff. Every staff member I came in contact with was extremely friendly. Austin was great and was able to accommodate me and my co-workers unique business hours. The rooms were a little out dated but were clean. Breakfast was good and the social hour was a nice surprise! Five stars just due to the wonderful staff here!! ?

Excellent customer service, fast and friendly check-in/check-out process. Free breakfast they offer free wi-fi and pets are allowed.

Review update: Since I’ve been a secret shopper and having revisited this location multiple times. I must state that the management is terrible and a internal investigation is needed within the company itself. I will not disclose additional details.

This was our first visit to this Hampton. It was in the perfect location for what we had going on in Peoria. We were greeted by staff upon our arrival, and even given a variety of Halloween treats! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and had good shower pressure. Most of the furnishings we saw (furniture, wallpaper, etc.), looked well-used, and could use some updating. The morning breakfast was good, but nothing special. We would stay here again when in the area.

I stayed here a few week ago and im STILL talking about the incredible service Austin at the front desk gave me. He was so kind, helpful, and attentive to my family and I. 100% coming again just for the customer service!! Austin does not get paid enough!!

Staff is super friendly, rooms are clean, and beds comfy. Only down fall would be no microwave. Great stay, I'd come back when in Peoria.
