My boyfriend and I stayed here in room 5 the “Cayman” on the water front. The room was clean, A/C was blasting nicely and it was very roomy! They even had a little welcome basket of snacks for us. Edith was wonderful and so accommodating when we arrived a bit early. She had the gentleman who was working around the grounds give us a key and allowed us to get into the room. We then checked in an hour or so later at the front desk. There are pontoon boats just steps away, and the tandem kayaks are free to use. We WILL be back! Super cute and clean, stay here you won’t be sorry.

We stayed there a few weeks. Edith and Christopher, Tiffany are the most amazing hosts ever. This is the most relaxing place to be with so much around. Use of the Captains house pool and the kayaks. I recommend this place to anyone. I'll even suggest family stay here when they come to visit. The owners outdid themselves when it comes to hospitality !

We've been coming here for years.Every room we've booked had it's own personal charm,clean and comfortable.If you're looking to go fishing,boating or just relax,this is the place.The Motel backs up to a Canal with direct access to the Gulf with Boat rental on premises.The Management here goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
Would recommend booking early since they do have numerous repeat customers that book for longer-term visits.We will be back.

We rented a pontoon for the day at the motel who also manages Captains Boat Rental. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They offer different options of boats and provide everything that is needed for a safe boating day. Boats were clean with GPS on all boats. Fishing boats with live well available.

My friend and I stayed at the Captain's House as the motel was full. The room was beautiful, the grounds are unbelievable. You feel like you are in a movie it is so stunning. You are on the water and views of boats are great. There are several seating areas, all having something special to enjoy.

This is such a nice peaceful motel in Hernando Beach. Our room had a kitchenette . It’s a great get away. The owner also owns the Captains house and
Walt who is like the “main” guy who takes care of the boat rentals and everything on the property. The girls in the office are super friendly and super nice. They make you feel like you’ve known them for a long time.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Captain's House and it was delightful! This was our second stay at the guest house. What I love about it is the welcoming atmosphere, as well as the beautiful grounds. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. A heads up, as with most guest houses there is no elevator, so if stairs are difficult, request a first floor room. We are looking forward to our third stay soon at the Captain's House!

We rented a pontoon for the day and it was a tremendous experience Chris was very pleasant and made our day. He was so helpful assisting us in getting my disabled sister onto and off of the boat. Their equipment is great and much better than expected. We will definitely be returning hopefully soon for another fishing trip and will recommend them to everyone.
