Just an overnight trip to visit a local casino. The hotel is undergoing a renovation. The rooms were brand new. Comfy mattress. Comfy chairs. Nice showers. Clean rugs. Hotel staff arePLEASANT! Shout out to Ida and the breakfast staff. Skip Bob Evans, come here for the breakfast buffet.

Definitely not the same experience as others. Under renovation which is understandable. Our room was very dated and noisy (114). Carpet was gross. Beds were comfortable though. Maybe construction crew staying above us? Front desk staff very pleasant. Breakfast $16.95 Nooooo I think not. Dog friendly but no dog potty area.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough if you want 10/10 service. Every hotel staff was phenomenal to make sure my needs met - from housekeeping checking in to provide additional services, the front desk giving great recommendations and supplies I was needing, to the outstanding food and service at the hotel’s bar. Seriously have never had hotel food that was so fresh, flavourful and satisfying. Big shoutout to Gabe the chef for making amazing food and Natalia for 10/10 service. Natalia went above and beyond to give recommendations, chat, and make sure our dinner was perfect. 5 stars to this stellar team!

Best hotel in the area. Even while under renovation, accommodations are great. Very friendly staff. Restaurant staff are always friendly and helpful especially Ida and Lisa. Food is always delicious. Rooms are very well kept and very clean

The restaurant here is unexpectedly phenomenal. From the drinks and the food, everything was exceptional. Natalia, the bartender, is one of the best I've had in a while. She was extremely inviting and made us all feel at home. Other than her great hospitality the drinks definitely did there job if you know what I mean. Also Gabe the cook is phenomenal and everything was exceptionally delicious. I would stay here anytime I wish I could take them on the road with me.

This is my favorite hotel in Dover, Delaware! The staff is AMAZING, the amenities are abundant (breakfast buffet AND they have a bar, that serves dinner!) and the location is perfect (just off RT 1). |Thanks to the Hilton Garden Inn for making my extended stays so welcoming.

We retreated to this particular hotel after bringing our daughter out to celebrate her 13th birthday at the Sugar Factory restaurant located in Bally’s casino. I looked the hotel up online and saw that they had complimentary WiFi and breakfast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The bartender and chef were great as well. My husband and I enjoyed a few drinks and a bowl of delicious beef stew. The girls enjoyed the pool and even though the pool area was under construction the facilities was kept and tidy. We slept well and the pillows and beds were very comfortable. Now this is where the stay went sour. We went down to eat breakfast we was approached by a worker who asked if we bought a breakfast package with breakfast. I advised her that we didn’t know we had to pay for a breakfast package. We stay with Hilton often and were Hilton Honor members and never had to pay for breakfast. I also advised her that we weren’t advised that we needed to online or at the front desk at check in. She said breakfast was $16.95 and I asked to speak to a manager. I’m not the “let me speak to a manager” person but in this case it was warranted. She advised me that someone would be in at 10. I believe there should be some sort of signage that says breakfast is a fee. I also believe first and foremost the team members need to be trained to tell guests this information on arrival. Communication is key when working in guest relations. To be continued as I’m waiting for the manager to arrive to inform me of where the breakdown is in communication and how they can fix it for future guests.
