My wedding guests said my wedding was not only the best but one of the most unique they have ever been to. The gorgeous gardens and the historic house is just to die for! Thank you ladies for being you and helping me have the best day of my life. HPL will forever be a place I consider home and I look forward to hosting future events there.

This venue is soooo very romantic, charming, and historic. You'll love it! Sweet, helpful venue staff like Elizabeth will be happy to schedule a venue tour with you and tell you all about it. I fell in love with the palce. Really cool built in sound system that can be controlled by an app Elizabeth has with different music vibes/volumes in different areas of the property. See videos. Literally the most beautiful, open, spacious, garden ever! From the moment I drove through the grand white gates to the entrance of the house, I knew I found my wedding venue. The Historic Palm Lodge is the 1st and last venue I visited. I didn't need to see any more places because I KNEW I found the one. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. My guests also loved the venue. At first, I thought my wedding would be too simple but the house and garden are so lovely, there are plenty of places to walk around and take photos. I received many compliments of the venue and I'm so happy I chose the Historic Palm. Also, Elizabeth is the best! She's so easy to talk to and was very helpful. She's down to earth and you can tell she cares about creating a whole experience to anyone who steps in. Michelle was also sweet and responded to me quickly. My wedding was so perfect and couldn't have been possible without hosting it at the Historic Palm <3

I knew this was the perfect place for my wedding as soon as I stumbled upon it on Instagram. When I attended one of their open houses, I instantly fell even more in love—it exceeded all my expectations. I was lucky enough to get married at the Historic Palm Lodge on November 9th, and it was truly a dream come true.

From the moment we signed the contract, Elizabeth (the owner) and Michele were an absolute pleasure to work with. They made the planning process so easy, allowing us to visit the venue multiple times for walkthroughs with vendors. The day before the wedding, they graciously let us come by to set up and drop off everything we needed.

Elizabeth’s care and attention to detail were incredible. She made sure the venue looked absolutely perfect for our special day. The historic house and its surroundings are like stepping back in time to Old Florida charm. The lush greenery and exotic plants created the most magical setting for our wedding.

This place is truly a dream, and I can’t wait to return in the future!

Genuinely so disappointed in this venue. My worst fears came true when days before my wedding one of my vendors told me there was a wedding the day I was supposed to check in for my overnight stay with my bridesmaids and do my rehearsal. This caused sooo much extra stress and work the day of the wedding. On top of that none of the furniture was where it was supposed to be when I arrived and I had my bridesmaids running around like crazy people moving stuff. The guy on property gave us extremely dirty looks when he was asked to help move things with us. It was overall not a good experience. I never even got a phone call from the owner just some text messages. My wedding was not a priority to them. So sad and disappointed.

This glorious house and gardens harken back to a bygone era while still offering all the modern amenities one could ever hope for. The hosts are incredible people and the property itself is just absolutely stunning. It’s perfect for small scale events!

In the weeks after my best friends wedding I am still left with such a bad taste in my mouth about this venue. Just knowing how much heartache they caused her with very little remorse makes me so upset. They clearly care about the event that is bringing in more money. From reading these other reviews I’m surprised we are talking about the same place. What a night and day difference of experience.

The most beautiful place!!! I just got married here and everything was absolutely stunning… the owners are sooo nice and helpful! They made sure everything was to our liking and that everything was taken care of! Cannot express what this place means to me and our family. 1000% recommended.
