We choose Holiday Inn Express because it's a great go-to chain hotel.

Jacob greeted us at 2am with our reservation paperwork ready to go and offered the extended check out time right off the bat. Super friendly and easy experience after a long drive.

Room was well maintained except for an empty complimentary body soap and no spare bedding.

We missed out on some amenities of the hotel due to our timeline, but a good experience overall for the price.

We were in room 200. This room smells horribly musty and wet. The bathroom mirror was broken so it was taped. The shower was tiny and not practical. The water pressure was unusually high. It was a hand held shower and it sprayed everywhere and soaked the bathroom floor. It was like taking a pressure washer to yourself. There was a water leak on the 1st floor and management said “yes that happens when someone showers and doesn’t close the curtain”. The ceiling above our shower was sagging

The rooms are always clean and nicely prepped. No complaints at all. PLUS, the staff is ALWAYS awesome! The young lady (May?) that is typically at the desk when I check in remembers me from previous stays (I have been travelling for work for an ongoing project) and treats me like a friend instead of a client or (just a) guest. The morning crew always have smiles and "Good Mornings!!" for anyone entering the lobby and the breakfast is great. I regret that my remote work in Carnegie will end in early 2025. I will miss these people.

Nice small hotel, conveniently located relative to the expressway. Apparently had gone through an update, with neat and comfy room design, however the bathrooms look very much like original with older design and finish, also lacking proper lighting. Quality breakfast, well maintained till the close down time.

The rooms were clean the bed was comfortable the swimming pool was nice and it was open late. It snowed pretty good this morning before I checked out and they had the parking lot cleared and salted staff was real friendly. The water was actually hot when I turned it the hot and I provided soap conditioner lotion and it's all Dove brand

I had such a great experience here!! Joanne is fabulous!! she went WAY above and beyond to make our experience exceptional!! She was bright and friendly..and really made our stay enjoyable 😊 and the breakfast way really good..everything was fresh and hot..didn't get sick after eating 10/10 experience

The bed is nice ! The room and bathroom just needs cleaning. Corners and floors in bathroom very dirty and the room smelled like a powder that has been used for a long time to override odors . Indoor pool broke ( one of the reasons we stayed here ) breakfast decent!

Positive: The room amenities were nice but the vanity was oddly outside the bathroom. Negative: Even though I was able to check into my room, there were dirty used towels everywhere. And the foot shower mat was still on the floor. Gross!
