It appears to be a renovated hotel to a Holiday Inn Express. The room I was in was big and spacious. Wasn't full queen bed, so two grown people in one bed might be a little cozy. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. No bugs noticed. It was close to the port and only a hop skip and a jump to the beach. I enjoyed my stay.

Nice location not far from the beach or the base. Older rooms but clean moderately updated. Dark interiors and lamps don't cut it. No USB plugs, an half the sockets on the lamps are worn out. Okay bed and TV. AC is barely adequate. If you are staying long, breakfast is monotonous.

Well, back in the day a nice hotels would give you a discount if you can prove. They're a funeral of a family member.
This place didn't. I would of have them a 5 it turns out we had several family staying there?.

One of the nicer Holiday Inns that I've been in. Reasonably close to the ocean and on one of the main streets to get around Oxnard and as far as Ventura. Hotel rooms feel a little outdated but overall a worthwhile place for lodging.

Very nice hotel and staff. One drawback worth mentioning to pay attention to thought..... Apparently theft at this property is an issue. On the table is a laminated card outline the costs of many of the room's contents for purchase with a note that says if upon inspection any of the items listed are missing at the time of check-out, the hotel assumes you wanted to purchase the item and will biil your room accordingly.
After a nicely supplied breakfast, I stopped at the desk and told the clerk that when we checked out I wanted someone to come to the room to sign off saying all items are accounted for and no other charges would be forthcoming. The young man at the desk said that the soonest someone could do that was in 60 minutes. I told him that was not acceptable and he would need to find an alternative solution or assume the responsibility and sign off on the contents. Which he eventually did. The young man was more professional and accommodating under pressure than stupid management practices. Another ignorant management decision putting employees in a position to fail when trying to serve people. Just a note to all that you will be financially accountable for the honesty of the hotels staff. Otherwise, I'd stay here again as needed.

I was here for a business trip, and the hotel was serviceable, excluding the terrible wifi. This would be an excellent vacation spot if you want to visit the beach.

The hotel is situated in an ideal location. The rooms are updated and pleasant. The beds are comfortable and clean, the TV was in a location that suited no matter where you were sitting in the room. The use of space was somewhat interesting and I think the coffee maker should have its own space and not just right next to the TV.
