I highly recommend this hotel. It is extremely clean from the common areas to the room to the pool. Everyone that we came in contact with was extremely friendly and nice. The Continental breakfast was great. In the room, in the bathroom area, Dove products were available which is nice. The bed was comfy. Overall great hotel

Thermostat in hotel room was broken. Fan would not run, when we turned it on it would just auto run for two minutes and shut off. Hotel Room kept creeping up to 89 degrees and would not cool off. It was 1 or 2 am and just trying to sleep.

Additionally, why can I not choose to run the fan on constant - because the hotel is cheaping out? Between the constant foot traffic in the hallway, and the highway on the other side, I could not get any sleep and the fan was the only relief in the form of white noise, unfortunately it would not stay on, despite being switched to on.

After a horrible night sleep - Hotel staff was out in the hallway loudly gossiping and rolling the cleaning carts around before 9 am. Check out is supposed to be eleven and some people were obviously trying to sleep in - hugely unprofessional. Some people clearly have a late night traveling, and would like to sleep in at least til 10. They have plenty of time to clean between check out at 11 and at 3pm when you allow new guests to check in. If I've paid for a stay, I should be able to actually sleep, not be woken by cleaning staff at 8.

One of the worst hotel experiences. I have stayed in other local IGH hotels and they were both clean and quiet.
Additionally, when we tried to check in, one staff member was checking someone in. 3 other staff members where talking to each other, or doing other things right by the front desk but ignored us for at least 15 minutes.

We just spent 4 nights at this hotel. Me and my wife and 4 of my kids stayed in a 2-queen room with a pull out. The room and facility were typical HI Express...clean, modern, well layed out. The first night we realized that the HVAC was not heating like it should. We reported it in the morning and the hotel replaced the unit that same day while we were out. Seamless. Thank you! The staff was friendly, kids enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast was plentiful. My kids enjoyed the stay. I would easily recommend this place to travelers.

I am a bit picky when it comes to accommodations (a bit of a germaphobe) so please take that into consideration when seeing my rating. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel by design was just a bit noisy. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Truly nice to encounter during a long trip. I will continue to make this my "go to" stop. Becoming an IHG member was a great value, I highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night as we were traveling. Minimal contact with the front desk as the check in process was smooth. The rooms were clean and nice decent breakfast spread. We had tradition soups and we needed hot water, and in the lobby they have 24 hour hot water. They also have blackout shades which plenty of hotels don't offer. The bathroom was clean. Overall I recommend this hotel, pleasant stay

A nice property. Even though it was pet-friendly, you couldn't tell, as there were no smells that are usually found in pet-friendly establishment.||The room was what I expected, clean with adequate outlets, good lighting, well-stocked with bathroom linens.||The breakfast was of a quality I have come to expect from a HIE, and the breakfast area allowed the guests to spread out, which is a nice touch. ||An overall pleasant stay.

I travel frequently for work and have stayed in many different areas and hotel chains. My husband and I were visiting family over the holiday weekend and stayed at the Holiday Inn due to the proximity to our relatives and the limited options in the area as all we needed was a clean place to sleep at night. This hotel surpassed many larger cities and higher value venues in terms of amenities, customer service, and cleanliness. The hotel gym was one of the best that I have used for this level of hotel. The daily breakfast offered multiple options that did not taste bland, stale, or packaged. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. This hotel will be my top choice when staying in the area.

We stayed in Clarion for our Groundhog Day weekend adventure January 31-February 2, 2025. We were here from Michigan and stayed Friday and Saturday nights.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable and those are key points for me. I am very particular about cleanliness. They offer a really nice selection of options for breakfast here and we had a good breakfast Saturday morning, before heading to Punxsutawney for the day. We took advantage of the pool on Friday evening and it too, was nice and clean. Saturday night we needed to get to sleep early so we could get up at 2:30am to head back to Punxsutawney. The hotel was nice and quiet and we had no problem getting to sleep early. Having a clean, comfortable hotel helped make our stay in Clarion a great one!
