Everything was great! Originally my reservation was for 2 adults and 1 child/King bed room. Unfortunately, my husband couldn't make it. However, the front desk staff was ready fo us and had a pull out couch ready to be moved to our room. I thought that was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Super clean and quiet. WIll be back again for our next tournament at Spooky Nook!

I am a Platinum member, using two rewards nights the last two days of an eighteen day road trip; every night was at a Holiday Inn Express. I was given Room 301. There were signs posted about their ongoing remodel. I was very surprised to see that Room 301 was at the end of a section of rooms where cabinetry was being assembled and installed. Cardboard boxes were in the hallway and workers were in and out of the other rooms.

First, my profile says I prefer a high floor. The obvious reason I request that is for quiet - not hearing the footsteps of the room above me all night. WHY wouldn't you assign me a room at the other end of the hallway, near the other elevator?

My wife and I unpacked quickly, as she needed to use the restroom. Upon returning the luggage cart to the lobby, I asked the young man at the front desk about why they had assigned the room. He said he could see if anything else was available, but we were already unpacked. He said that they should wrap up working by 5pm, and that they wouldn't resume work until 9am the next morning. Both time estimates were wrong. The workers were screwing cabinets to the wall at 6:30pm when we returned from dinner, and they were hard at work by 8am when I returned from the fitness center.

We had plans, so we avoided the noise for the rest of the day.

We checked out on Friday, and the front desk person inquired if everything was good with our stay. I was going to leave without saying anything, but she asked. I said no, I couldn't believe we were booked into the only room not being worked on in that noisy section. Her answer was because of my profile. She said "I apologize, but we did offer to move you".

Any apology with BUT is not a true "I'm sorry" for the inconvenience.

I feel that the first associate should have looked to see if an upgrade was available, or to at least compensate with a credit of points to our account. The second should never ask if everything was good if the next question isn't what can be done to make things better.

Vent in the bathroom was filthy, as were the blinds in the fitness center.

Front Desk staff was super friendly and extremely inviting. Breakfast above expectations and room was super clean. The only thing that could have been improved is the mattress comfort and the hotel was extremely outdated. There was blue drywall tape holding trim on the wall and leather couch looked like it wasn't replaced in the lobby since 1979. None of which compromised our saty and I would stay again plus recommend

I was in Lititz Pennsylvania for a leisure stay to visit my daughter after Christmas. I knew it would be a great experience!! I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The staff is very welcoming when checking in. The hotel from the lobby through to the rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast food is hot and fresh when you get in first thing in the morning or running down stairs before they close. I am never disappointed with this hotel!

Reception at desk was very friendly and helpful. Remote didn’t work so he put in new batteries then went and got us another remote. Rooms were very clean. Are remodeling the hotel so upgrading a lot

The staff was wonderful. The hotel itself is a different story. Upon walking in the lobby, the couch was terribly worn and the pleather was cracking. The hallway to our room looked like something has been scrapping it about a foot off the floor for 20 years. Our room, the bathroom tile was either dirty or had a stain near the toilet, the furniture is showing some wear on the edges. The bed wasn't terrible, I was paranoid about bed bugs all night. The noise level was ridiculous, kids were running and yelling in the hallway at late hours and doors slam shut as they must be heavy. I wouldn't stay here again, not because of staff but because of the condition of the hotel and the noise level.

Our stay was great. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Temperature was good. Bathroom could use an upgrade. Shower pressure should be addressed. Breakfast food was ok. Just did not replenish enough.

So, my daughter and I traveled 5 hours to get here for medical reasons. We stayed for almost a week. The first thing I noticed was the hallways, common areas, and stairs could all use a vacuum and dusting.

When we arrived, the A/C was on in the room. I turned it off. I noticed the towel rack above the toilet was loose; it was too late at night, and we just went to bed. Preface - there is no safe in the hotel room. to have someone come into the room each day and fix every issue would have made me have to carry a lot of my valuable items (like a laptop) to my car each day, and lock them in my car. After the morning appointments, I was in the hotel room and tried to tighten the screw on the towel rack. There was nothing for it to screw into. The shelf looked like it would fall over when towels were on it. So, I told the front desk about the towel rack that night and it was fixed the next day when we were out. Later that evening, my daughter said the toilet wouldn't flush. I used my home improvement skills, removed the lid, and saw the toilet wasn't filling up with water needed to flush. I slightly touched the gray sensor, and the toilet filled up so I could flush. This continued to happen throughout the stay. Fast forward to Saturday. It was hot in the room, so I turned on the A/C and it smelled very musty. I noticed there was black dirt all through the air vent. The front desk said it was because it probably hadn't been on in a while. On Sunday morning, the kitchen area was packed full of people. My daughter and I went down 6 times and it was constantly overly crowded. If there was an empty table, it was dirty. I had to clean the food off the bottom of our shoes.

The pancake machine broke that morning as well. It wasn't in operation on Monday, either. Also, on Sunday, there were two wet bandaids on the floor in the pool area. There was also other trash on the floor. The trash in the hallways wasn't picked up or cleaned during my 6-night stay. The lack of cleanliness was very off-putting. Finally, after we ate breakfast Monday before we checked out, we went to the bathroom by the pool. The toilet had a self-explanatory mess all through it. On a bright note, the front desk employees were really nice.
