The information given by hotel is wrong, their breakfast ends at 9:30 NOT 10:00. Guests plan their days, business or pleasure, so incorrect information can negatively affect their day. A little before 9:30 the unfriendly person in charge of breakfast began to remove the bread and cereal. He stopped restocking the sausage hashbrowns and eggs, and combined everything into one warmer around 9:25, and the heat must have been off because everything was room temperature. When we got there at 9:20 the small refrigerator had 2 waters and 1 milk, literally 1 milk. He finally restocked the refrigerator with milk eggs yogurt and whatever else around 9:57, and then he immediately locked it. We watched 2 families and a small group of truckers between 9:30 and 10:00. All planned their morning to wake up and enjoy breakfast before beginning their day. One family made pancakes and that was it, the other family took nothing and went back to their room, and the truckers picked through the cold "warm" food and joked about his pathetic the breakfast was. However, it wasn't pathetic, they just didn't know that the breakfast actually ends at 9:30 not 10:00. That is an EPIC FAIL on the part of the hotel. Nothing should have been removed, stopped being restocked, or turned off until 10:00 am .. PERIOD. If the breakfast person needs to start shutting down early so they can leave early, then bring in another employee to cover. If the breakfast area starts closing at 9:30 then fix your misinformation. The 1 day we were there, including the 2 families, the truckers, and ourselves, we saw 16 peoples mornings affected by the inaccurate times provided by the hotel. I know, it's not the end of the world, but the majority of guests plan their days around breakfast. Meetings, events, activities, can all be thrown off because now I'm not eating breakfast, or I have to make an additional stop that wasn't planned, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Additional thoughts, the pool was nice, but the "hot" tub was not 104°, I would guess closer to 98°. The rooms and hotel were nice and clean. Check in and out was smooth, but getting a late checkout was a hassle and felt like it was a burden.

This is great place to stay! This is the second time visiting here and I will stay again. Everything is clean and they aren’t stingy with giving you extra towels and cloths like so many are now. The pool and hot tub are great. They offer a nice hot breakfast. Cookies on check in and a coffee station throughout the day. I picked this place for the good reviews and I was not disappointed.

Fast, friendly, easy check in. People were nice and very helpful.

Great beds. Lots of options for breakfast.

Small improvements that could be made: coffee and food quality were average. Vending machine broken. Add extra blanket and pillows in room. The towels were tiny.

All in all, was a great place to stay and I would recommend.

Upon arrival to check in, the check in clerk was dealing with a particularly difficult customer with respect to a declined credit card payment. The customer would not leave the check in desk while she attempted. to resolve the issue. It became a long drawn out discussion between the customer, her bank, and her spouse, all the while monopolizing the check in clerks attention. Also, the customer, while mostly polite, insisted on keeping the clerk involved. This created a line up at the counter and dragged on for 20 -25 minutes. This is not a complaint about the wait and I simply sat down in the lobby and was amused by the entire situation.

The clerk that was dealing with the situation was so patient and professional throughout the situation. She continually acted in a calm an quiet manner and I told her when I checked that she is a very patient woman. She did an excellent job in a difficult situation. She is a keeper for your organization.

My family and I recently traveled to the area to visit family over the holidays and stayed at this location. The reviews weren’t bad at alol and the suite availability appealed to us. The room, at surface level appeared slightly outdated but certainly acceptable given we were only sleeping there for two nights. We didn’t really even venture over to the living room side of the suite much until the morning we were checking out. While waiting for my wife and daughters to finish packing, I walked over, turned in the lights and went to look out the window. It was at this point that I first noticed a large number of small, dark brown stains splattered on the beige curtains. Some were faded, where someone had tried to clean. Others were not. Those still maintained a reddish color. Unfortunately, my career has exposed me to similar scenes many times over the years and these marks were unmistakable blood splatter. Unfortunately my kids and wife saw me looking at it and realized why I was concerned. We left the room and I went to the front desk to check out. I brought the issue to the attention of two females at the desk, showing them the pictures. They both expressed a level of empathy / disgust and noted “we’ve had the police out here but never to that room.” Comforting.

The one employee thanked me and asked the other if she had checked me out yet. She confirmed she had and the other said okay, I will add 10,000 points for this stay. Honestly, I gave no thought to it at the time. We were running late anyway. In reality, that doesn’t even equal the value of a single night, even at a location the quality of this one. Based on a clear, and very disturbing biohazard in our room, not to mention the trauma to my kids, this stay shouldn’t have cost anything. This will probably be ignored but I at least wanted to pass this on and hope that it stops someone from staying here. It certainly had that effect on me. I am reconsidering an IHG stay already booked for February in another location and will actively seek to avoid in future travels.

Great stay. Beds are so comfortable, the room was so clean, full size toiletries are a big plus, no tiny bottles. Refrigerator, microwave & coffee in the room added bonus. Nice staff with easy check in & out. Will stay here again.

I stayed here last summer with my son and remembered being satisfied with the hotel. I booked for a one night stay in January but could not make it so my wife and son travelled alone. My wife (who can be picky) said that the hotel was one of the best Holiday Inns she has stayed at in years and one of the best Pittsburgh area hotels in this price range. Wonderful breakfast and clean, spacious rooms. Highly recommended!

The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and accommodating when we had car trouble and had to stay an extra night. Breakfast was good and dining room well taken care of.
