The staff at Home2suites were AMAZING. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome. Everyone was very accommodating and professional. The room was clean and smelled nice too! Big shout out to Simeon who helped me out tremendously during a quick turn checkout. I'll be back on the next work trip for sure!

I book the Home 2 Suites each time I'm in Huntsville for work. It is located in a very convenient location to everything. The rooms are spacious, clean, and I love having a kitchen area with a full-size refrigerator, cookware, plates, bowls, etc. The bed and pillows are very comfortable but also love having a sofa, so it feels more like a studio apartment. The staff is very friendly and any issues I've had have been promptly attended to.

Reservation completed on computer website for 12 Feb – 28 Feb. I had to call the front desk to get that rate as the website would not adjust to it accordingly and was told it would be correct at check in by the front desk agent which it was correct. Verified early check in and waited 45 min to be assigned a different room. The blackout curtain was off track and would not move with the touch button. It was also during winter but the room was warm so I went to adjust the living room T-stat and saw the battery light flashing. Went to the bedroom and had the same issue. Went to front desk, reported the blackout curtain and was given batteries to replace in the T-stat or wait until the next day for maintenance. Upon replacing the batteries, I attempted to turn on living room AC but it would not come on. Finally figured out the T-stat and unit were not linked, had to turn AC on at the unit. During the entire stay, with temps outside being as low as the teens, the AC units never did shut off. Yes I like it cool and set them at 67. Curious as to what that room would be like during the summer? Day 3 of stay, I finally had enough dishes to run the dishwasher. After about 45 minutes of running, I went to kitchen and stepped in water from leaking dishwasher. I turned it off and called front desk to report, pulling out dishes and finished washing by hand. Little did I know until later this was a long time issue. The next day, I received a phone call from Director of Sales. I informed her of all the issues and she said that Engineer would be coming to my room this evening. I requested next day since this is a work trip. She offered some comps and I received points on my account. Upon returning to my room the next day, blackout curtain was working. Living room AC T-stat was not linked to unit and unsure about dishwasher. Day 8 – ran dishwasher again and saw a leak from right side panel. Next morning, saw a large dried water stain on floor. The wood next to dishwasher is swollen like the leak has been occurring for an extended amount of time. Also that morning, bedroom AC sounded like it finally shut off but began making a rattling, humming noise to go along with some ticking. I turned the unit off at T-stat but it continued to make those noises. After about 10 min, I turned it back on, and it smelled like heater was on. The noises did stop and no additional issues with it during my stay. I emailed the Director with photos of dishwasher leak, wood, floor stains and video of AC unit noise. Washing machine is $2.00 per load for low soil, and increases by $.25 per selection. Dryer is $2.00 for 45 min and can be increased by 15 min per $.25. 2 washers and dryers but 1 was out of order. The 2nd weekend here the one operational dryer began acting up. Getting a coin error message on some of the coins which the machine cost me an extra .75. Informed the front desk and was told thank you and they would notify maintenance with no refund offered. Extra .75 per customer adds up to a good hotel bonus. Either the floors are thin or I had an upstairs neighbor who has very heavy steps. I was woke up during the night for about week around 10pm every night and one night on the weekend at 1230, 200 and 245am. Received my final checkout bill and for some reason the last 2 nights went back to the standard rate. I had to email the director again and a refund and corrected receipt was received in about 4 hours. Not sure if was just due to the winter time but constantly received a static shock on the downstairs elevator button and inside the elevator when pushing the floor button.

A group of us arrived. One was assigned a room with pizza boxes scattered around the room. Another had a layer of pet fur, at least I hope it was from a pet, all over the floor. Some of the worst turn down services I've had to date and that's if they serviced it at all. I don't think they will continue to get our business.

Unfortunately this was the worst Home2Suites stay I’ve ever had. There were two positives: Alyssa at the front desk and the complimentary breakfast.||I checked in online the night before arrival. When I arrived at the hotel at nearly 6pm, I was told that my room wasn’t ready… no problem. Things happen. We left to grab dinner and give more time for our room to be prepared. While at dinner we were notified that the room wasn’t ready. Upon arrival, our room was a complete disaster. We were greeted by an open breaker/fuse box in the entry way. The bathroom door didn’t close on one side, and the latch to close the door was missing on the other side. The bed was missing all of the linens. The refrigerator was set to max-cold, but was warmer than the room (which had the air turned off completely). There was no toilet paper or tissues in the bathroom, and chairs were stacked on top of the table. One of the towel racks had been torn off of the wall and was missing. The entryway was halfway painted with a different color. The battery was low in the thermostat, so it blinked on and off when we’d try to adjust the temperature. ||I felt like such a burden having to go down multiple times to the front desk to report everything, but I wanted to be certain that I didn’t get blamed for all of the things that were wrong in this room. Alyssa was very patient, but she had to be tired of seeing me. Hotel was fully booked so no other rooms were available. Total after tax was $187… I felt robbed, but we were too tired from the 11 hour drive to try and find another hotel that late into the evening. I had hoped to hear from management on Saturday or Sunday, but no such luck.

Very easy to check in and rooms were nice! Was convenient to get to from the airport. The store in lobby was nice and convenient too! Only reason to dock a star was because when showering in the morning the body wash and shampoo was completely empty. So made it hard to get clean, the bottles were empty and not checked by staff. I mentioned it nicely to the front desk at check out and all she said was “okay.” No apology or care at all

CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!! We generally book at places a little more bougee than this but we were at the end of a long summer of being in hotels and we had to be there for 10 days so we were trying to keep our cost under $3000 for those 10 days. Mission accomplished. We even put our room to the black light test and it passed with flying colors. That place was whistle clean. The addition of washers and dryers for our use was a nice bonus. It was great to have the option of the fold out couch for the teenagers and the full-size fridge was so convenient as well as being able to fill our water coolers every morning before we hit the ball fields. Breakfast was good but not over the top. We actually arrived during that big microsoft meltdown that grounded all the airports and the staff had a difficult time checking us in but they made it delightful by chatting with us while we waited. If I'm not mistaken an owner? Partner? type person was on board that week visiting from Texas to oversee operations and made such an impression on us. He was one of those people with a bubble of kindness around him and an air sophistication with just enough seriousness that you knew he could handle himself if necessary. Id have to dig very deep to complain about this property..if anything it is the surrounding area that needs work..while the location is great for softball its not that great for tourists in general but dont confuse that to mean it is a bad area, we felt very safe while we were there. There are no homeless people meandering at night and the other guests were all so similar to us it felt like home. Great hotel, thanks for everything.
