Marissa, Vinnie and I can not thank you enough for facilitating the most PERFECT wedding day ever. Every time we talk about our wedding, we have say, “thank god for Marissa!” From start to finish, our experience with Marissa, was flawless. From the moment we found Hometown Gatherings, the communication was clear, concise, and so organized. What I loved most when first having a consultation call with Marissa, was her down to earth personality, but she was also very straight forward. She always felt like the expert and this made me feel so confident in her ability to effortlessly facilitate our big day. Our 1 on 1 calls weekly leading up to the wedding, allowed my husband and I to be very organized with what was needing to get down and Marissa, really helped us prioritize our task list. We trusted Marissa, with everything. Day off, I didn’t exactly have decoration spots laid out 100%, but it was not needed. She took charge and made sure everything was placed perfectly throughout the venue. We did not feel like we had to worry about ONE THING. I didn’t even see my venue, until our cocktail hour, but then again, I’m very laid back and just had a lot of trust in her. I can not recommend her services enough. Marissa, was a huge part in making our wedding feel so special. The whole night was absolutely perfection. She’s worth every penny, if not MORE! If there is one service you NEED day of, it’s hiring Marissa as your wedding coordinator. I promise, you won’t regret it

Marissa. Is. Amazing. We still cannot get over how effortlessly perfect our wedding day was.
From the moment we started working with her, we knew that she completely understood our vision. She took the time to really get to know our vibe, and with that, she offered excellent guidance, answered every question we had, and acted as a grounding force for me during the entire wedding planning process. I felt totally prepared going into our wedding day because she was always there to listen to my anxieties and bring me back down to earth. I always said I felt SO much better and way more excited every time we spoke. Plus, sometimes her cute pups would make an appearance on our Zoom calls, which I think is a total plus.
And when it finally came to the day off, we got to sit back, be present, spend time with our loved ones, and enjoy the day because Marissa got stuff DONE. I barely saw her because she was running around making sure everything was perfect. And I’m still not over how truly perfect it was. Our guests are still raving about our beautiful reception tables. She put so much detail and thought into the aesthetic of our wedding and really delivered on our vision. Beyond that, she moved things along smoothly, kept our timeline flexible to capture all of the special moments, and made our day the best day ever. She is such a gifted wedding coordinator and I have been raving about her to everyone I know! We are so grateful for Hometown Gatherings and highly recommend Marissa’s services if you want a perfect, stress-free wedding. <3

Having Marissa as our wedding coordinator was by far the best decision we made! She is so knowledgable and experienced in hosting events. She gave us such great advice and did everything possible to make our backyard wedding vision come to life. She was also a really grounding presence throughout the whole process—reminding us that this day was about our love and to prioritize that. It was so nice to be able to fully let go on my wedding day and soak it all up without having to worry about anything. Our day simply wouldn't have been what it was without her. Had a wonderful experience with Marissa! We were planning our wedding in Mendocino County from Washington state and we couldn't have done it without Marissa! She helped us through so many decisions and answered all our questions. It was amazing to not have to worry about coordinating anything on the day of the wedding. Hiring Marissa as our Day-of Coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We worked with Marissa in the last months leading up to our wedding weekend to bring her up to speed on all our plans and help firm up final details. We were so impressed with how Marissa seamlessly integrated with both the staff at our venue and worked with each of the vendors. She is a natural and confident leader, but also quickly jumped in to assist whenever someone across the wedding team needed an extra hand. Overall, she is fantastic.

Marissa was the best to work with! I hired her as a month before/ day of coordinator for my wedding in San Diego, CA and it was the best decision! We had a few follow up calls from the day I hired her leading up to my wedding and then the month before we had weekly check ins. She was accessible and easy to work with. She is the reason I was able to genuinely enjoy my day and not stress about anything. She made my vision come to life and everything went better than I could have imagined. She made sure vendors were where they needed to be and when they needed to be and if anything did go wrong I had no knowledge of it because to me she made it seem like the most perfect day. If you are looking to hire someone I couldn’t think of anyone better than Marissa!

Marissa was incredible to work with! She totally understood our vision and what we wanted. She was so professional, punctual, and responsive to all of our questions and needs. We found the venue walkthrough so helpful and she asked questions that added so much value to the walk with the venue managers. On the day of she totally took control on everything and we were able to just relax and enjoy our event. She kept everything organized and made sure to quickly/casually check in on little tweaks/adjustments throughout the event. I could not recommend hiring her enough and thank you for all that you did! We loved working with you and you truly made our special day absolutely perfect!

Marissa was incredibly helpful for thinking through all the details and flow of the wedding, creating a layout and timeline, and communicating key details with all the vendors. She ended up not being available day of, but she met with us regularly leading up to the event to make sure everything was in order and had a phenomenal associate, Rebekah, to run things day of. Would highly recommend!
