The outside of this hotel is great.. lobby too. Service was fine/good. As a diamond member I did ask for an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite that I saw available online and was told that it was unavailable so that was a little strange. No water bottles in room.. again as diamond member I mean at least give me that.. but really I’ve never been to a Hilton where there wasn’t a water in the room.

Room itself was outdated but that’s okay- I could tell that by the photos online. But it really wasn’t clean in our opinion. Bathroom has mildew and smelled bad. Shower was gross for the same reasons. Just marks on the wall and dirty kind of all over. There were alcohol bottles , like old used ones, underneath the bed. We were just staying there for an overnight trip but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We had a king-sized bed, and it was really comfortable. The other guests were quiet. The breakfast was nice too.

My sister and I were on the homestretch of a cross country trip and we booked a suite here, and for the first time, booked without reading reviews; it was a long trip and frankly I was exhausted. Since we stayed multiple nights on Hilton Properties and we were nothing but pleased, I trusted that this property would also be fine.

I’ll echo the other reviews by saying this hotel definitely has a cleanliness issue. It was filthy-sticky, grimy floors that had a black film on them after a white paper towel test, dust on the bathroom shelves, food on the floor, remote not wiped down, dirty bathroom…I could go on and on. The staff moved us to another room and were very helpful and understanding. The manager reached out to me the next day and refunded our stay and made it right. However, I felt called to write a review so others will know that this place is unclean. The lobby was incredible and spacious, and definitely the highlight of the hotel. I only wish the same love and attention was brought to the rooms. A hotel is only as good as their cleaning crew, and I hope this issue can be rectified soon. The property is beautiful and it’s a shame this is happening.

I stayed at The Homewood Suites in DuBois, PA, while on a work assignment, and I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. Upon arrival, the toilet in my first room wasn't working, and while the staff quickly upgraded me, the new room was far from clean. The duvet had visible stains, the bathtub had mold, and the shower curtain was filthy. Despite requesting housekeeping the next day, only the duvet and shower curtain were replaced, with the rest of the room left unclean. I had to purchase my own sheets and cleaning supplies just to feel somewhat comfortable. Very disappointing experience for a Hilton property.

We read the reviews and saw the ratings. Being a Hilton we expected more. Had reserved a one bedroom suite for the 3 of us. When we checked in the room was freezing. It’s August! Tried turning the thermostat up but could not maintain. Ended up using blankets. The sofa bed had no bedding - had to call to front desk and go down and pickup personally. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom door could not close more than 1/2 way. Tile floor prevented that. Bathroom had two switches but only one worked. When you turned on light the fan also came on. So sleeping in that room was very difficult. Other Light switches in room did not work either. It was also difficult to get hot water in shower. Shower curtain was moldy. Didn’t use the kitchen except for refrigerator. The room as a whole could use lots of loving care. ||Even though we were to stay four nights we checked out after one night. The hotel was booked and said they had no other room for the 3 of us. Travelocity was very helpful in speaking with them so we were only charged one night. Will never stay at this property again. Other hotels in area are more favorable

The room was nice and the service was good. However, member travelled with her counterpart but received different rates (room and taxes) for the same style of room.

Unfortunately this hotel has a cleanliness issue and based on other reviews it doesn’t appear to be a fluke. There was disgusting black mold and pink soap scum all over the shower, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, old pretzels in the pull out sofa, crumbs all over the floor, an empty water bottle behind the bathroom door, hairs from previous guests all over the bathroom. We had ONE towel. The bed didn’t have an actual blanket/comforter on it and when we asked about it, the front desk person said that’s what they have but later that day we walked past a few other rooms that had actual comforters on them. The ceiling fan had a thick layer of dust on it. The breakfast was gross.
