This is one of the best places to stay in Cooks Forest. The owner Andy & Paula are fantastic. We stay at their cabins every year. The cabins are so clean & well maintained. I highly recommend the Hominy Ridge Cabins for anyone. ||James & Donna Sabo

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Adorable cabin. It was clean and private. BEWARE. Just as others posted, though, we caught a 100 fee on the hot tub for unknown reason. We showered, rinsed suits, were only in it maybe 20 minutes each time. We used it twice. We purposefully checked the water before getting into our car to leave and it was as clean and clear as the day we checked into the cabin. The fee showed up later on our card. We are hardworking individuals that take pride in our personal hygiene, so to he charged 100 on top of our cabin fee is absurd. Should have read reviews before booking.

Don’t book a cabin here unless you want them to make up charges so they can charge your credit card more money. We wanted a nice getaway for my husband and I. I just had surgery six weeks ago and wanted a nice weekend getaway. They had a canc we were so excited. |Then we arrived. The table was so sticky, the floors were sticky our feet were sticking to the floor. They charge extra to use their air conditioners . Never heard of that before. The bed was lumpy . Then comes the hot tub incident. We fallowed all their rules. Took a shower , rinsed our swimsuits. We were in their hot tub for about 7 minutes (if that) the hot tub foamed up. Nothing at all we did!!!!!!!!! We got out right away. We let Andy know at check out. They charged us $100.00. They should credit us $100.00 not charge us. They ruined our night of relaxing. He needs to check the PH balances and chemicals he is using. The owners are NOT nice people. |We have rented cabins in Tennessees with Hot tubs for 33 years and NEVER had any issue at all. Will never ever rent from these people again. I wish I would have read the reviews before we did. Could have saved myself the hassle of dealing with them and money!

Love it here! We were supposed to be joining another family for the weekend. They picked the cabin and made sure it was large enough for everyone. Then they had to cancel on us due to a health issue. When we arrived the woman waiting on us said that is a lot of cabin for two people. We explained our situation and she offered to give us a couples cabin with a hot tub instead!!! Well our answer was heck yeah!! We are having a great time so far and looking forward to our day of hiking and exploring tomorrow.

Quiet and peaceful, gorgeous cabin and location. Management extremely friendly and helpful, went out of their way to accommodate our needs. This was our best ever stay in our many years of visiting Cooks Forest. We will definitely book here again.

Very nice place but check your hot tub very thoroughly before getting in. Take a time stamp video of before and after, so that way they can't use their fake videos to charge for their $100 hot tub fee. We owned a hot tub for years and got in it WITHOUT showering, and it never foamed up like how they claimed it did.I would definitely own up for wrong doing . But did nothing wrong . Having video with verbal times and day are not time stamps .

Clean rooms, cozy quiet cabins but nightmare inducing warnings on every single thing. They offer no amenities... no towels, no shower stuff and everything has to be purchased at the store out front. Even the state managed cabins have more basic needs. Our stay could have been so much better with very few room essentials added to the not cheap price for the room. Again still decent just not what I expected. Edited for accuracy.
