I really enjoyed my time here! The staff are super friendly and not afraid to answer questions. The room was super nice. I really don't like carpet, so to my surprise, the room has a new hardwood floor and a gorgeous bathroom. I felt like I was staying at a resort. It was super great, and I recommend staying here. It is close to bus routes and nears some great restaurants.

Definitely not coming back.

The only good thing is the size of the room is good. But the furniture and decorations look cheap.

The entire style is "modern" style, but doesn't look good. 50% of the power outlets in the room didn't work.

The service was absolutely among the worst, the check in was so long, there was only 1 guy in front of me, but it took over 30 minutes to finish that guy, it was close to the midnight, so I was curious why so long, the night lady didn't even look at me, just said it's confidential, during the entire process, that lady, and you are right you probably guessed out what kind of person she is, didn't greet me or say anything politely, just ordered me like, your ID, your card, nothing else.

And the parking, there are so many lots, but they offered valet only, no self parking. I don't like strangers driving my car, period. Had to find a street parking.

Never ever come back to this place. Ruined by the people running the hotel.

I've stayed at this property many times over the past 8 years or so. Sadly it is sliding downhill in terms of quality. I had one of the larger suite rooms on the 2nd floor during my most recent stay.

The room had a lot of the usual dings and scrapes on the walls. A few minor stains here and there. The bathroom faucet worked but was very loose. The tile floor in the bathroom was losing a lot of grout and was coming apart. The sofa was quite beat up and very uncomfortable (where I slept because my two kids were in the queen beds).

The valet and a some guests were outside smoking at various times during the night. The smell of cigarette smoke wafted up into my room since my room was right above the smoking area apparently.

I love the location of this hotel in East Liberty, being close to the Universities. It's too bad the level of service can't be maintained like other Hotel Indigo properties.

Diamond elite. We have had the same room twice, the governors sweet the first time we stayed there the shower wasn’t working correctly, garbage pushed behind things and the bedding did not look fresh. I contacted the hotel and the response was quick to address the issues. I was told that I could get a future night comped at equal or slightly lesser value. I sent numerous emails stating when we would be back over there for some time away, no responses so we stayed at other hotels and had a wonderful time. We thought we would try indigo again and I emailed them with no response still The room was nice and we had a good time but I feel like I was told something just to pacify me at the moment and am unlikely to stay there again

Stay A. S.

The staff and overall atmosphere of this spot is EXCELLENT. Everyone is incredibly friendly and kind and made my significant other and I feel so welcomed. The rooms were very roomy (probably could use some extra furniture) but honestly the bed/pillows were some of the comfiest I've had at hotel in recent memory. Bathroom was clean and had great lighting. Really enjoyed the time we spent here!

Positive: The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location worked well for our visit with family. Negative: The hotel rooms could certainly use some updating. Our first room had chairs that were so filthy I wouldn?t sit on them. The second had warped floorboards, missing drawer in nightstand & tv table that looked caulked to the wall.

Definitely would not use this hotel again. Room smelled bad and the room was dirty. Had hair in the bedding and lighting was very poor. There was no close parking and seemed like you had to pay for valet parking which was over priced for what you get.

We were a little hesitant to stay here based on some of the reviews we read but our room and bathroom were very clean. There was an old chair in the room that was dirty so we didn't want to sit in that which only left two of us to share one rolling desk chair the entire time. So the room is definitely in need of more seating options but other than that, it was great. The hotel restaurant was excellent, especially the wings and the Wallace breakfast, and the cookies put out in the lobby were a nice touch as well. The valet is pricey considering the cars are literally parked across the street where guests could easily do it themselves. But check in and check out was pleasant and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful so other than those few minor things, it was an excellent stay.
