Please be aware of receiving text messages from individuals representing themselves as employees with HotelTonight, texting you from a (989) area code. Phishers are intelligent, and will draft seemingly legit websites and contracts in order to access your bank details and refuse any refund. I do not have personal experience, but I was able to confirm that this site and texts from individuals representing HotelTonight are fraudulent, meeting the burden of criminal actions.

Whatever you do, absolutely avoid this company at all costs. They dont care about their customers, small business owners, or travelers who have been loyal for YEARS...

They have lost my company's business, my personal business, and many of our vendors and suppliers in the production world.

They deserve to be bankrupt, just like their morals. What a pitiful company.

I’ve used Hotel Tonight in the past without any issues. This past stay I’ve had a horrible experience. I stayed at the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel in DC area. Under the “need to know,” it says “may be subjected to fees,” which is still unclear on the website.

I have a charge on my card for $99.12 and another charge for $3.30. I called the hotel, and they stated it was a resort fee, and will not send me over an invoice, because I didn’t check out in person. Which is shocking due to the fact they do not offer any amenities other than from 5-6pm a glass of wine. Then I contacted Hotel Tonight via email, Edy said $12.90 was due to the minibar charges. I had one bottle of water, which was $3.00. I also had an additional charge on my card for $3.30, which I thought was the mini bar.

After doing some research on the Glover Park Hotel, I should have only been charged, for 75.00 of fees not $99.12. I stayed a total of 3 days; each night was $25 per night. The $25 fee was never clearly shared with me before booking, nor was told checking in.

Working with Charlie and Edy, they will not send over the $99.12 invoice charges. I do not recommend using Hotel tonight due to lack of info about “maybe subject to fees” because it can be any amount.

Like so many other victims of Hotel Tonight I was looking for an inexpensive yet decent hotel and believed I was dealing with a reputable organization. I neither ended up at a decent hotel nor do my experiences with Hotel Tonight lead me to believe they are a reputable. They have a predatory attitude that is draconian if anything goes wrong with your booking. If you get duped into being lead in by the price realize you are signing away everything

Thank goodness I didn't find the App effective to make a reservation! I just avoided money & reservation issues. Many thanks to the suffering reviews.

Listing Effectiveness vary by City. In Chicago, you have areas/neighborhoods with distance (from app geo location?). Whereas in Springfield, IL, there is NO distance from City Center that makes it very hard to determine your hotel location especially when you don't have a car.

NOTE: Due to alarming negative reviews, I am deleting the app to avoid future headaches. 🤯

Hi, what a SCAM.
Am a new customer for Hotel Tonight, this past Sunday, Nov 17 at 4:22pm i was in the lobby of a hotel in Miami Fl the Weoodbrige were i didn't see at that moment a employee. When i called there phone to ask for the reservation i was trying to book for that same night in the website of hotel tonight it got confused and they only had availability for that same day but 3:00pm because they were sold out.

Had to look for another hotel to spend the night 4 hours late i call hotel tonight to explain what happened and they only want to steel people money right in the face. They only stud firmly saying they are non refundable. I have spoken to a lot of people in their customer service and not solved, only offering me a credit to use in minimum 1years and took my money and i didn't even call 12 hours later.

Don't recommend this page their customer service is also very trick.

I booked a room at Holiday express Zürich and the room I booked wasn’t available when I arrived so the hotel apologized and tried to get me a new room in a different hotel. The manager told me that I wouldn’t have to pay and that I’ll get a full refund but guess who is holding back my money even though the hotel didn’t charge me? Yes you’re right it’s HotelTonight!😡 I asked them to refund me but they refused even though the hotel itself told them to make me a full refund! I was a good client and they lost me for 98 euro! HotelTonight is not a app with cheap prices but a cheap app!!! Shame on you! I have all the necessary information and documents and I’ll post them everywhere!

Avoid at all costs. One of a growing number of travel companies willing to take your money with no intent of fulfilling your reservation, only to offer "credits" for use towards a future booking. This is a SCAM.
