Dave was an incredible tour guide! He was very patient, informative, passionate about manatee conservation and was willing to bring people out on a windy day when most other tour companies would not. He made a very windy day into a very positive experience. He also took amazing go-pro photos of the manatees from his paddle board that he shared with us at the end of the tour. This tour is absolutely worth checking out.

This is our 2nd year kayaking with this company. We always seem to go last minute and they had clear kayaks for us to double with our kids. They’re easy to work with, I feel pretty decent in price and it’s within walking distance to the dock. They take the kayaks there, help you load and unload, which for us as inexperienced kayakers is AMAZING. The map is easy to maneuver and it’s such a cool experience. I am so glad we were able to go again this year and hopefully this becomes a little annual tradition for us!

I LOVE everything about Hunter Springs Kayaks. They are so accommodating and have everything you need to create a great adventure. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and professional. They will forever be my go to company for all paddle craft rentals in Crystal River.

I had a great experience at this place. It was easy to get all the paperwork done and the ramp was easy to navigate. The staff who launch the boats are really cool, and I wish I had some cash to thank them for their help. They send you off and pull you back in.

We saw manatees and the water was a refreshing 72 degrees, perfect for a hot summer day. There was no strong current, so even novice kayakers can have a blast. They offer guided or self-guided tours, and you can choose from single or double kayaks as well as clear canoes.

The 3-hour trip cost $64 for a double kayak.

Amazing! They were so flexible and wonderful with our ever changing schedule. Our guide was the best. We went late in the day and during the off season but we still saw several Manatees. He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Our six year old was freezing so he let my little one on his paddle board to warm up. They cruised around looking for the best fishing spots telling fishing stories to each other. This was a once in a lifetime experience for this Idaho family and this company definitely delivered! Everyone was great with wonderful attitudes. I would do it again if we are ever in Florida again, but maybe in January during peak Manatee season.

Dave was so patient & informative. The entire team from checkin to leaving was so pleasant. Going out with a new pet & my little one was a lot but booking the tour really helped us stay on track and see all the manatees. Beautiful team thank you again 🙏🏽
