We booked rooms for Hyatt Place Germantown, we were not asking to cancel rooms. But due to the generational weather that is happening - tornadoes and flooding... the event was rescheduled.
So we asked to rescheduled the rooms.... NO.
They would not reschedule. We could book new reservations but not change our dates.
I don't think so. And I will not be staying with Hyatt ever again.
So disappointed with this hotel and it is bad business.

My wife and I just got home from Cozumel Mexico. We have stayed at Secrets Aura for eight years straight. Sadly, I feel this is the last time we’ll stay there. We always upgrade to Preferred Status and enjoy the perks that it comes with. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive it this time. Our room wasn’t ready until well after 5. I asked to speak to a manager three different times but was never contacted by a management member. The “Topshelf” liquor isn’t top shelf anymore all the bars have the same liquor. The daily maid service was more like every other day maid service. The lack of attention has dropped to a new low. I guess it’s true, all good things end!

Hyatt closed my member account at no reason, tried to find out more with customer service, very bad customer service without resolving my issue and answer my questions chat ended by the associate. Never recommended Hyatt to anyone, because they could end your account without a reason. Now all points are forfeited.

Don’t ever leave items behind in your room. We left shirts and a charger and no one will help. All they do is tell you to email the head of household. Did that. 5 days and no response. Called hotel same garbage. Call or email head of house hold. She did however take my number and offer to update on when head of household checks get email. Really? Good process Hyatt Jacksonville town center. Great process that shows you care about the guests that spend their money in your hotels.

Absolute garbage. They treat their employees like trash, just like any other corporation from what I’ve witnessed. They have TERRIBLE user experience on their mobile app. Not sure what’s happening with the team they have now, but whoever is in charge is foolish and not making good decisions. They took a step back in time for sure… Hyatt hotels aren’t anything special. Back to Marriott and Hilton for me

Most ridiculous T&C's, make sure you use your free night at least one day before expiration. Wanted to take my wife out to a hotel for her birthday, have a free night expiring today Aug 24th, tried to book it and was told I'm SOL as I check out on the 25th and the free night is expired after the 24th. They asked "Haven't you read the T&C's" "Its not Hyatt's fault you didn't read the T&C" "You've been a member for a long time and you haven't read the T&Cs", as a grown man and a person who travels for work half the year (Lifetime Platinum/Titanium elite at Marriott, Globalist at Hyatt and Diamond at Hilton) I have never felt so so belittled like I was dumb for asking. SO long story short I'm at a Marriott for tonight at a beautiful hotel. Hyatt will not get my or my companies business anymore. I will make it my mission in every virtual opportunity to bad mouth this company and every forum/travel group/reddit.

Back to Marriott where the hotels are worse but at least they don't treat you like a child.

Such a bad company, hotel stays, physical violence that I suffered in 7Pines resort Ibiza, terrible reviews from clients, items being stolen, customers lied to. Simply read the reviews, they are awful, world wide, it’s a culture within the company. How has the CEO remained in his position for 18 yrs. with years of bad reviews, like this company suffers, he shouldn’t be there. From the treatment that I have received and then reviewing comments about the company, worldwide, it must be an ingrained culture. The CEO has participated in many videos that advocates how good Hyatt and himself are, can someone enlighten him.

This is the biggest joke of “Corporate.” They have no power based on what I’m being told. I’ve had a case open for 2 months and NOTHING has been done. Don’t waste your breath or energy. It’s unfortunate I can’t rate a 0.
