We stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, were very disappointed. the service and conditions did not meet our expectations. The pool was dirty, the lighting in the rooms was poor, and the air conditioner blew too strongly — it was impossible to sleep with it on, and also unbearable without it. There were no basic amenities like disposable toothbrushes or slippers, which are standard in most hotels.

Breakfast was very cheap and basic, with barely any options. I’ve stayed in hotels in Dubai, Turkey, and Uzbekistan — and everything there was excellent: comfort, cleanliness, food. This hotel doesn’t compare.

Worst of all, they told me one price, but charged $100 more from my card. When I called to ask about it, they couldn’t explain properly and then stopped answering calls.

I’m giving this hotel 2 stars. I do not recommend it.

Lovely hotel, very clean. Room was spacious and we enjoyed having a sitting area to relax and watch television. Staff was helpful and friendly. Convenient to have the casino connected to the hotel. Parlay lounge had great food and nice atmosphere. It was a nice little getaway for Valentine's weekend.

Nice location to stay if visiting the casino. Most of the parking is located in the parking garage for the casino which has an attached walkway. Staff were friendly. Check in was smooth. The thermostat was not operational in our room and there was a piece of a rubber glove in the bed linens. We would likely stay again if visiting the casino.

The lobby was clean and the breakfast was good. I was NOT pleased with our room. I ordered the romance package for our one night stay. We didn't get champagne like the website advertised; it was a bottle of wine (no wine opener) provided so we got creative and used a toothbrush to push the cork in. We laughed about it to be honest but that's not what I paid for and it went to waste because neither of us like dry wine. The meat and cheese was warm so idk how long it was sitting out before we checked in. We went to the casino and came back around 12:30am and when we went to get showers there was only 1 large towel so we had to share, ran out of tissues because it wasn't checked and a TOENAIL on the floor! I was immediately disgusted and questioned the cleanliness of the entire room after that. At that time of the night after drinking I'm not calling the front desk to move rooms as we only booked one night. I let the employees know at the front desk the next morning and they couldn't have cared less. I'm disappointed as I tried to do something sweet for my fiance and I's birthdays and that's how it turned out for us. My advice, don't pay extra for the romance pkg just buy the stuff yourself and fully inspect your room before going to dinner or the casino.

UPDATE!!! Spoke with the Manager on duty and she was wonderful. She seemed to have genuinely cared about our experience and obviously tried to make it right. I know that's a part of the hospitality game but she did a good job. I will update my original review for service up to 4 stars because of that one phone call. Sometimes that's all it takes to make things right.

Positive: The rooms were very clean and the custodial staff was very responsive and thorough. Glad that the rental car place is gone because it cheapened the atmosphere and did not add to a positive impression of the hotel. Negative: Sometimes there was not coffee when I wanted it.

I recently had a long term stay with Hyatt Casino and enjoyed everything they had to offer! The staff was phenomenal and very accommodating. The manager Beth and front desk/“It Girl”, Diamond, both went above and beyond and helped with any questions or accommodations needed. The bartender gave me great advice on the live entertainment and drink specials and she was impressive with cocktail knowledge. As avid travelers, the breakfast here is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. We have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. Thank you all for everything!

Absolute the worst stay I've had in a long time I STAYED IN ROOM 400. where do I start first room was dirty service was at best average and I'm probably underrating that. the walk to the casino. It wasn't bad just overall experience was piss Poor
I'll include pictures. I don't want you to reach out to me DO BETTER for 250 dollars. i expected a lot more. FROM THIS PLACE. How do I lock the bathroom door NO LOCK There was stuff on the back of the bathroom door the vents were covered in nasty black stuff. There was no shampoo in the shower. There was no shower gel in the shower completely pathetic. You don't have to reach out to me. I will not stay again. I'd rather stay down the road and drive up to the casino i thought they got rid of feathers in pillows, a long time ago I kept getting stabbed in the head. BREAKFAST WAS JUST HORRENDOUS Do yourself a favor Go to the waffle house for breakfast

The Hyatt Casino South Pittsburgh is among our favorite places to stay. The hotel is super clean, comfortable and safe. We'd like to extend our thanks to all who work there at making this Hyatt exceptional. We highly recommend it. We'll keep coming back.
