Would definitely reccommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Newark, DE area. Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the town and was very safe and clean. The room was a very comfortable size with a nice living room area. The eating area was great. It has a nice outdoor eating area that overlooks the center of town. The breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start the day. Looking forward to returning!

It is very clean and in a great location. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. They offer a hot breakfast. Convenient, inexpensive parking is available. The staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms are small but well designed and comfortable.

The beds were comfortable and had some of the nicest pillows I’ve used at a hotel. The hotel and rooms were quite modern and the bar next to the lobby had great drinks. While free is better, parking was only $10. The staff was very polite and helpful as well. The only negative I have is the free breakfast. 45 minutes into breakfast opening, they still had not put out eggs and the other food was just meh. I would definitely stay here again though.

Very clean, comfortable, with guest services as one might expect. My room faced Main Street on the third floor and there was a lot of street noise - so I didn't sleep well, even though the bed was comfortable. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable for longer stays. Housekeeping came in and made the bed on alternating days. Very convenience location, walkable to restaurants, services, and entertainment. On site parking with validation reasonably priced (don't forget to have your parking ticket validated or it more than doubles in price per day!).

Ok so I’m a very loyal Marriott Titanium Elite customer but decided to give this hotel a shot because of its proximity to Main Street. I had decided that I would always stay here when visiting my daughter because it’s modern, new, and clean. The staff was super helpful BUT the toilet literally clogged 3x in 2 days and then mom mom’s room on another floor had the toilet clog on last day before departing. I’m hoping because of the extreme cold or something this was an issue or a one off?!? Like I said they were extremely helpful and dealt with it quickly and even gave me a bottle of wine for the trouble. I think I will give it a try one more visit and if I experience the same issues, back to Marriott even though the location is not as desirable. Other than that, I slept well and liked the overall experience!

Super clean room and hotel! The bed and couch were really comfortable! I felt at home! Lovely place to stay! I was welcomed when I entered and each time I returned to my room. The staff was super courteous. I am so happy that I picked this hotel. It exceeded my expectations!

I was disappointed with my stay. I requested an early check-in, but while I understand it wasn't possible, neither of my rooms were ready by the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM. The front desk staff were not particularly helpful. Once in the room, it was nice. The location is good, but you do have to pay for parking. Which they do make you aware of. On a positive note, the breakfast was great, and the kitchen staff there were friendly and helpful. Overall, there were some positives, but the experience fell short in a few key areas. I probably would never stay there again as there are other choices in the area.

I stay here often for business trip visits. Recent stay was in October 2024. While working in room I wanted to use the TV as additional monitor, but it was not configured to do so. I happened to run into one of the maintenance staff (Tyler or Taylor, forget his name). We asked him how to configure TV as additional monitor. Without hesitation he said, "I'll be up in 5 minutes." He literally dropped everything he was doing to resolve our issue. He exemplified great customer service! Hyatt, please recognize Taylor for his exceptional customer service oriented approach.
