Shauna and her team made my wedding absolutely perfect. They worked around the clock all weekend setting up and breaking down seamlessly where no one even saw what was happening behind the scenes. I was overwhelmed with the idea of finding vendors but Shauna guided us through the whole process providing as many recommendations as we needed and kept us within our strict budget. It was so nice that every vendor we worked with referred to J29 as the “dream team” and were excited to work together for our big day. She found perfect vendors that matched our ideas and personality and gave us ideas to incorporate our dogs into our special day.

Shauna and Sadie did an amazing job pulling together all the little details of our dream wedding! We hired J29 Events for Day of Event Management and Shauna went above and beyond to help with matters prior to the big day. Her knowledge, connections, and attentiveness were invaluable. She is easy to work with and makes you feel like her only client. The wedding day went very smoothly. Shauna and Sadie made sure to check in to see to it that the design aesthetic aligned with my vision, that my husband and I were taken care of throughout the day/evening with food, drinks, etc., and I am sure many other touch points with other vendors behind the scenes to make the day perfect! The end of the night was easy-peasy for clean-up as well and much appreciated.

Sabrina and the J29 team were THE special sauce in delivering our multi-day, “Old Hollywood/Bollywood meets PNW cozy” Indian-Western fusion wedding that dazzled every guest. We are STILL getting cards and notes from guests that it was the highlight of their year.

Originally I was looking for a planner that was organized, reliable, and could help bring my vision to life, who would ensure things went off without a hitch. Did I get those things? Absolutely. Sabrina had every detail covered, helped me delegate each task, and created the most comprehensive planning doc for every vendor. Thanks to her, we were 10000% present on our wedding day. All things that the How-To-Pick-a-Planner articles say you should look for - we got them in spades.

But man, it’s the things you don’t realize you need that had me floored about working with Sabrina / J29.

One was network. Sabrina, Shauna & J29 are clearly well-known in the community for doing what they do with zest, gusto, and style. Every vendor we interviewed had amazing things to say about J29 or was expressly eager to work with them. When we couldn’t get responses to outreach emails, Sabrina had the connection that helped get things booked. She knows the industry like the back of her hand, and saved us HOURS of research by giving us the perfect vendor recommendations. (After the 2nd time of me saying, ‘No please give your top 5-6 recommendations’ and then doing a bunch of interviews / research and arriving at her original top two, I stopped asking for so many and started getting the perfect 2-3 vendor choices - so much easier!). The team that we assembled was sheer perfection. We got a room block at a hotel that generally doesn’t do them. The list goes on. All this to say, Sabrina and J29 are well-known, well-respected, and can get you the team you need and want while saving you time, stress, and headache AND making the process fun.

What blew us away though - Sabrina herself. She is honestly Superwoman. Kind. Funny. Endlessly energetic. Did I mention funny? She had a way of speaking and doing that convinced me from the first phone call that “this is the person who will get sh** done” on my behalf. All the little details that my neurotic, type-A self fretted about — Sabrina had already foreseen them, had solutions up her sleeve, and was unphased. Any time we had doubts that we were being too fussy, she would lovingly remind us that WE were “the pie,” and we deserved this day. Whenever we spoke I felt re-energized, even if I’d felt stressed before. She was the perfect salve to my procrastination - I couldn’t not pick up the phone because every conversation was so fun. Sabrina was also committed to making sure that both my personality and my partner’s were well represented in the details, from napkin color to DJ choice. She talked us through our opinions, getting to the heart of what mattered to both of us and offering creative, beautiful compromises that felt greater than the sum of their parts. We felt like our wedding was truly ours and nobody else’s.

A final thing: cost, only because I found similar comments helpful in my own search. Many reviewers said it was worth every penny - that a planner was the best investment in their wedding. I’d triple down on this - hiring Sabrina and the J29 team was THE best investment in our wedding. We’d do it again in a heartbeat. We had no idea the incredible creativity, knowledge, and execution that we were signing up for, and it was worth every penny we paid and then some. If you have the budget and are waffling at all on hiring a planner, I am telling you that the ROI on J29 is huge — you will not regret this choice.

I could truly go on and on about Sabrina and the J29 team for hours (and my bridesmaids are probably sick of hearing me gush), so I’ll simply end with this: I could never imagine our spectacular, multicultural celebration without Sabrina, her heart, and know-how. She really is the ride-or-die planner/friend that people ache for. She is our dear friend, she is our family. She has our hearts forever.

We couldn't have asked for a more seamless, beautiful wedding experience, thanks to Sabrina and the team at J29! As a hands-off bride wanting full-service, end-to-end planning, I felt completely confident in Sabrina's capable hands from day one. Her incredible network of vendors was just as impressive. Each vendor was a delight to work with, and they were all fun to have around on the day.

Sabrina has a unique ability to spot potential issues before they become problems, keeping our day running smoothly without me knowing about any hiccups! Her eye for design is truly remarkable, and she took the time to incorporate our personal style into every detail, creating a day that felt authentically "us." We trusted her enough to take creative risks, and she absolutely delivered.

Here's the thing- no matter how prepared you think you are, it's natural for the stress of the day to get to you...Sabrina is the person you want there to talk you off that ledge. She's funny and calming - and can do it so quickly that the CIA should contact her for tips on hostage negotiation.

If you're looking for a planner who combines top-notch expertise with an approachable, detail-oriented style, I can't recommend Sabrina and J29 enough. She was a dream to work with, and our wedding was truly a dream.

We worked specifically with Sabrina Peters for our wedding this summer and we knew from the moment we interviewed her a year ago that she was THE ONE! My husband is Italian (and coincidentally so is Sabrina!), so she was the perfect planner to conceptualize the big day and really nail those traditional Italian wedding moments that were so important to share with his family traveling all the way from Italy.

What really set Sabrina apart was her collaborative attitude that perfectly balanced her impeccable expertise - it was 100% our vision, but she elevated it to something better than we could even imagine. When you're engaged and planning a wedding, you're really caught up in the big picture and the feeling of it all, but Sabrina was crucial to the process because she is so detail-oriented. I always left our brainstorm sessions energized and more excited than ever.

Both my husband and I look back on our wedding day and agree that it was even better than we could have imagined - and it would not have happened without Sabrina and her team! Full disclosure we opted for the Full Planning package and it was worth every penny. Sabrina has been in the industry so long, her wealth of knowledge on tips and tricks to save (but also when to spend) really helped us stay close to our budget, but achieve the final product that we wanted. She was also a great emotional support during the roller coaster that is planning and we became great friends after it all!
