Great music. Great atmosphere. Cheese fries were so good. I give it a 3 though because you need to triple check your bill at the end of the night, which we didn’t. Our table was split in two. And unfortunately they charged us for most of what was at the table instead of the people who ordered it. Lesson learned though, always always always check your bill thoroughly while you’re there and not the next day.

Do you love live blues music, good people, and going to bed at a reasonable hour?! Well this is the place for you! This is by far the best live music bar in the western suburbs, and probably my favorite blues bar I've been to, including those in Chicago proper.

It's clear that Johnny, the owner, loves blues music and building a community of blues enthusiasts. The people in this place are truly some of the nicest around, and the customer service is top notch.

The bar menu is quite varied and includes a number of non alcoholic and low alcoholic drinks. We tried the food for the first time, and were impressed with the burgers.

Give Johnny's Blitz a try. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to come back for live music every Friday and Saturday night!

Good live music bar with solid burger options if you want to eat before enjoying the music. The wings are also legit! So it was our go to for an appetizer to share.

If you have a small kid you probably want to eat before the music starts or plan for ear plugs because the music is loud and the place small so you cannot escape it.

What a gem of a place in Westmont! Johnny, the owner made our group feel like VIPs! We saw an amazing blues band Mike Wheeler Band! Wow 🤩! Burgers, wings & beer were definitely elevated bar food! Our group had a blast! We’ll be back!

By far my favorite establishment in the western suburbs. Johnny's Blitz has live blues music on weekend evenings along with trivia and other events throughout the week. They book incredible musicians for a minimal cover charge that would be triple the price at any other venue considering who plays here. The owner, John, and his staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, you can tell there is a a real passion for keeping the blues alive from everyone here. Service is always fast and I never have to worry about waiting on a drink. I have yet to have any food but from what I've seen it looks delicious so I'll definitely have to check out their menu next time. Johnny's Blitz is on par with some of the great blue bars in Chicago so this is well worth a trip

Won't disappoint. It's probably the best blues spot in the South Suburbans. The music, atmosphere, and owner are all top-notch! I highly recommend it!!! Every night, they have something going. I prefer Saturday's.

I had the best time! Great band, great ambiance. I danced the night away. I am not much of a drinker except my friend likes IPA and they have it there. They also serve food which I didn't try and I wil update when I do.
Great time. The proprietor is jovial and walks around greeting his guests. Great place for a date night or to hang with friends. I went on a weekend when they have live music.
