If words could properly describe… I tried to drop some shingles off at the station. We got there at 5:32 google says that it closes at 6, so no stress. Except it closes at 5:30. The lady there was not greeting or kind in any way but like nope, can’t help you we are closed. When we expressed that google said 6 she was like nope it’s 5:30 I put everything away, nope., look at the sign. Which I get but it could have been said differently. So we change plans and come back today. We pull in and the same lady was sitting in a backhoe waving her finger around but we have never dumped there before. So my brother gets out and she starts getting all upset and throwing her hands. My brother tried to say that he has never dumped here and wasn’t sure what she wanted. She asked where we’re from and when we said out of town she was like, nope, can’t help you, good bye. There had been no mention that it was for town members only so my brother is like, seriously? We had had people from out of town dump before. And she starts to blow up. Asking is she needs to call her manager and that she has worked here for years and she wasn’t going to argue with us. We said that we would happily talk to someone that would be more reasonable and she lost her mind. Some guy that doesn’t work there but was hanging around said that he was willing to handle things around the corner if they needed too after my brother asked if he would help him out with her. He was small and my brother is not so it wasn’t a good idea. He said that he was just there to make sure that my brother didn’t go crazy on her. But my brother would never hit a lady, if you could even call her that. I have no intention to ever go back or suggest that anyone else go there. For a small town like Jo City I did not expect such hostility. Kinda sad
